I want to apologize for the delay in getting scoreboard and game threads updated this week. WOSGrad did most of the updating of the scores. That job now is on me and my wife. We were not able to attend those duties due to our son getting married this weekend. We hosted the rehearsal dinner Friday night and the wedding was Saturday evening, all down here at the beach. We were very busy to say the least. I am just now getting the scoreboard updated. Will attend to the game threads and pickems later today or tomorrow. I apologize for this inconvenience. We are doing the best we can to try to fill those big shoes Grad left us. Please be patient with us. Again, I am sorry.

I really like the improved O-line play. The multi-play drives on offense and despite the slow down mentally in the 2nd half from a scoring standpoint, the defense didn't let up. The bye week was right on time. On to GCM

Adam has completed 85 of his 128 passes for 1177 yards and 10 TDs and rushed for another with 5 ints. His Reddies team is 4-0 and scored more than 50 points in the last three games. Before tonights game his QBR was in the 180s and tonight it was 127. He has turned into a very good QB for Henderson State setting up a huge matchup between them and the only other undefeated team in conference. The Reddies were ranked number 18 in the nation before tonight, Congrats to Adam on what looks to be an outstanding record breaking s3eason for his team.

So far our passing game has not shown up all season.That first kid could sling it but couldn't connect.We need short routes instead of the home run kind.

There is always next time........but I fully expect Surratt to get the QB playing a little better. You are right though. The late pick 6 made the score worse that it was. @Mr. Buddy Garrity I didn’t respond in the other thread about the BU vs Sterling game because I thought you were being a little harsh on Soulja’s boys. IDK though? I think this game, Friendswood and GCM are probably their only chances at a win though? 0-10 may be more beneficial in the long run though. You hate it for the seniors but at that point I think the AD would have to review what he has going over there. I’m sure there are some young coordinators around that could have BU actually playing like they look.

This’ll be my “game of the week” since the Pirates have a bye. Also suspect it’ll be one of the better games in the area. LCM is kicking into high gear and Jasper’s season, expected to be stellar, has been frustrating due to Covid and two close losses to PNG & Vidor. They’ll want to take it out on da Bears, but this ain’t no gimme. Good luck to both.

So many advances in technology. So many folks laud these advances, but you’ve pointed out one of the glaring downsides. It’s great for out of area news, but local coverage suffers. Dude United blows. They underachieve so bad it’s not even funny. The problem with Beaumont is they want to “please the community” when they hire a guy instead of hiring the right guy. Need someone there who isn’t a hype guy or a push over. They need a real deal disciplined football coach who knows football. As for WB, you try replacing a guy going to A&M at QB and see how well it works out for you.

The decision to throw the ball to set up the game winning field goal was a great call because we had to get the ball down the field quickly. Our passing game has improved a lot and it is another weapon in our arsenal. But I don’t necessarily agree passing the ball when not necessary deep on the side of our field with a team with speed that already is averaging about one interception a game. I wasn’t at the game and I assume the defense was in a coverage that was favorable for the passing game. Just made me nervous with our field position at that time. It was a great game and I wish I was there to have witnessed it in person instead of work but since then I’ve listened to both live broadcast and watched the game footage. Very impressive win for the players and coaches

The landscape in our area isn’t the same as it was 30-40 years ago with tons of talent. When oil companies started outsourcing work to contractors you don’t have families that are committed to the area as they once was. We have more travel trailers in the area than homes

All this talk has taken away from the excitement of that last drive for orangefield. They had a 3rd and 28 and completed their only pass of the game for 48 yards. All to have their FRESHMAN kicker kick the game winning field goal from about 30 yards out leaving 8 seconds on the clock. On homecoming night. You can’t make this stuff up, and no matter who you were rooting for last night one thing is true: this is why we are all FANatics of High School football

Donkey Stomped them puppies! Trust me North Shore is very little of the things mentioned above. It is a very blue collar area where kids live with one parent or the other or in many cases they live with neither. Yes we have some nice facilities. But there are others around us that have just as nice or nicer in some cases. What they don't have is the All In winning culture that we do.

It’s going to be a 0-10 season this year!!!! Obviously there’s some sabotaging going on. Graham doesn’t want to be there. You can clearly see that a few of his assistance want to head coach job. How are you in no huddle and get a delay a game 3 times a game every game? You have coaches going back-and-forth during the play calling! You have certain players that are very undisciplined. This group of kids have too much talent to be looking like a 0-4 team. It’s time to clean house from athletic Director on down!

Its time for Jackson to admit he made a mistake with the hiring of Graham and move on from him. He may be a wonderful human being but he sucks as a football coach and leader of young men!
