WOS did contact Carthage and was told no. That's actually true. There was some talk that Carthage might close school for COVID. But Coach T has been told no by multiple schools.

Telling every mayor and County Judge that you will never shut a church down again while you allow Home Depot's and protesters to gather at will with as many people as they want. And telling the world that Texans will never stand for ammunition to be restricted or gun stores to be closed during any crisis. I just believe in honest debate, weighing facts on both sides and then coming to a conclusion. I feel like the majority of the time I open one of @Reagan’s links, (not always), it’s gonna say 1/2 truths and speculation to make a point. An interesting matchup at this point in the season. BC has a bigger D-Line than CL and Liberty. But Huffman does not depend on size up front. Same as last year, Huffman offense can put up some points. They have quite a bit of team speed and are making plays when they need them. The defense hasn't seen a good rushing attack yet but tackle well and close very quickly. The secondary is good. I am certainly biased so I expect Huffman to win. Will the defense pitch another shutout? 3 in a row would be some rare air. Not likely but definitely possible. 42-7 Huffman.

Carthage and Manvel both scored 7 offensive points against Crosby in the first half. Tells me the staff is going to have us ready to play Friday too. You say the defense is strong but BH had 450+ yards of offense and could’ve easily gotten to 40+ points had their personnel been able to make a few more plays. I’m not expecting it to look like our third game of the season last year where the offense finally got going and dropped 55 on Montgomery after losing the first two and pretty much scoring the same amount of points as we have so far this year. I am expecting us to execute the best we have so far on that side of the ball though. If I could post the clips you would see how we missed three WIDE OPEN tds and could’ve had 42 on Manvel with just basic execution.

So instead of 5 horses they down to 4 horses in the stable. Might be a tough night for them mighty mighty Bobcats.

That is one of the great things about speculation. In 3 quarters of play, WOS managed 130 yards of offense and no touchdowns. In that same time Nederland managed almost 300 yards and 2 touchdowns… but WOS was on the way back. WOS very well might have come back. We will never know… But it sure is great speculating isn’t it?

Damn, that will be worse of a beat down than Crosby took from Manvel. That’s a bold prediction but I don’t know anything about PAM. I do know Crosby has a very young team this year so they have a lot of room to improve. The QB/Receiver timing has been way off.

They were scary good. Old school veer offense, talented online and backs, clutch qb. Slobber knocker defense, Kevin Smith, Quentin Tezeno and friends. College level coaching. The only team preventing Jasper from championship that year.. Enjoyed watching those guys. .

There scedule usually does not allow it and there offense style does not either although I did see 2017 Kennedale made the list at #33 way ahead of wos on the list and we seen how they got blown out by us in the state game that year this record reflects on how weak of a schedule you had 98% of the time

Well it did for awhile, everyone has their opinion about the coaching situation at BU. Like what was mentioned earlier in this thread, lets just play the hand that was dealt to BU. Personally its just sad that our kids have to deal with it, my son has no earthly idea that I'm a lil upset about the coaching situation. So i'm just going to sit and enjoy my son's last 3 months of high school and head on to DUKE in January to start a new chapter in his life. I just hope things change for the better at BU for the kids sake!!!

First, I have no desire to be on the sidelines because BISD vision and my vision do not match up. Actually its not hard talking on a thread bc if you know football its easy. Just because i do not coach do mean i dont know football. It doesnt matter where the coaches are from but i just hate that BISD allows coaches to come in a use our kids as test dummies bc of a coach thats learning or has no varsity experience!!! 3 3 5 is a nickle defense. Well it was when i played, its designed to stop the pass not the run!! Its called a nickle for a reason, 5 DB's to cover not tackle!!! Colleges recruit hybrid kids to run this scheme. You cant come to a high school and put that as your base defense without knowing the type of kids you have. A good DC adjust his base to the strength of his personnel. Not say he didnt come hear to run no one else DEFENSE!! We cant stop the run!!! Next, the coaches may spend countless hours preparing so we should see it on the field on Fridays than!! Being able to agree to disagree is a must in any career field!! Height has nothing to do with it but i promise you he cant teach a swim move by an interior lineman. LOL Next if the HC keep trusting his DC he will not have to look for another job, he will get fired!!!!

Jag86, it seems as if you know about coaching, you would be on the sideline. Talking about what should be done on a thread is probably much easier than actually being in the midst of the coaching arena. What does proper personnel to you mean “Coach”? Also, I think it doesn’t matter where you come from, it’s where you’re at. Those coaches were hired undoubtedly because they know something about the sport they’re coaching. I’m sure you could do better though. These coaches are coming to practice everyday molding and guiding these kids. Spending day and night and even after hours trying to make sure these kids understand the game plan. They’re certainly not doing it for the paycheck. Those 3 “Outstanding Coaches” should apply for the job if they’re that “Outstanding”. Of course that’s only perception on your part. Additionally, what does a coaches height have to do with anything? His football acumen and knowledge on defense would probably make you think twice. I’ll probably trust the coaches over someone who sits in the stands and find faults. Sports is a mini-life situation. A state championship in high school is not going to get these young me a job or even make them better men. However, teaching teamwork, perseverance, consistency, trust, hard work, and resolve is going to make them better men. Winning is just and added bonus. Coaching is hard work. Being in the stands and pointing out what “you would do” is the easiest and most simplest thing to do. I encourage everyone to let the coaches coach, the players play, and the fans support.
