I'm not in love with Trump the man, he could handled many things more softly than he did....but I fully supported most of his policies and would support anyone else who has the same policies. Honestly I think his daughter would make a great first female President. She is smart, she is tough and she is much more refined in her approach. What is funny though is I bet all the women power folks that scream from the left would be the first people to tear her down. A coworker made front page headlines about 10 years ago when all this started. He spoke at a BISD board meeting. And called out dr thomas and the board for spending millions of taxpayer dollars on the stadium. While his 10yo daughter was being sent home with copies of the textbook chapters. They didn't even have textbooks for the students. Getz(?) tried to become his best friend and told him they needed people of color to speak out and would love to have him on his side. My coworker just said, and I qoute... "I'd rename it Donald j trump before butch thomas" That should tell you how bad it was at the time.

Anyone that is paying attention to the economy should have voted for Trump. I'll check that out tonight. I was a manager/trainer in Jasper back in the day and spent probably more time than any student should in a coaches' office from the 6th grade all the way up to when I left before my senior year. Walkoviak's staff was pretty static and most of his staff had been in place for well over a decade at that time. A good sense of humor goes a long way towards building that kind of continuity and the ten or so guys that were that core group were comedy gold. It made being part of that athletic department a lot of fun for me.

The Biggest threat against this United team is the ability to shoot Freethrows. They shoot under 70% as a team in that area with the best free throw shooter being Yates and then the reserves. Lost lastyear in the 3rd round after missing more freethrows than makes. Hope they can get it under control in time.

The jury is still out. This BU team has yet to be tested. And with this COVID thing, there was no tournaments to play against top tier competition early. Also, you’re comparing this team to those Silsbee and Memorial teams. Those teams won title(s). All of this would be for nothing IMO if we don’t AT LEAST make it out of the region. I’m watching this team closely and see the run in them. I just hope that by playoff time, there is another level that this team can reach.
