  1. One more thought on the anti-Trump vote. Presently there is a Democrat in office and most economist, including left leaning, saying we are in this present economic condition for the foreseeable future, does the "enthusiasm" to remove him from office show back up to keep him out? Do independents that voted against him with a stagnant or falling 401k, or recent college grads forced to move back home, or female athletes disguted with transgender opponents pull the Democrat lever just to keep Trump from being President again? Or do they simply stay home? Based on my previous post, I am thinking about the approximate 40,000 vote diferential between those 3 states COMBINED. Done deal it is not.

  3. [Hidden Content] Liberalism is truly a mental disorder. From the article: In her latest piece, Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell argued that critics shouldn’t solely focus the blame on Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., for current inaction on climate change, it’s the fault of American "voters." Rampell’s Tuesday column, titled, "Manchin wasn’t the only one to kill climate action," declared that "voters" are "the biggest, most reliable killer of climate action," and as a result, "The planet is burning, and we’re running out of time to douse the fire." The piece began by scrutinizing the political invective being lobbed against Manchin for rejecting "every iteration of Democrats’ safety-net-and-climate bill." Rampell observed, "Some of Manchin’s Democratic colleagues suggest he deliberately ‘sabotaged’ the party’s climate agenda because of his longtime ties to the fossil-fuel industry," and added that his behavior is "aggravating and inscrutable." However, "he didn’t kill America’s chance at curbing climate change. At least, he didn’t do it alone," she claimed. "We Americans all did it. Together." She continued by including Republicans as "co-conspirators" in this neglect of the planet, writing, "There is an entire political party — the GOP — that has shown roughly zero interest in addressing climate change, assuming its leaders even recognize that the planet is warming."

  4. In two years, we’ll be in the home stretch of a Presidential election cycle and Donald Trump will be 79…. The same age that Joe Biden is today. Young people aren’t going to vote for another geriatric. Every day a bunch of old conservatives die and a bunch of young people turn 18 and gain the right to vote. NONE of those kids are going to vote for Donald Trump. Despite his band of delusional followers (like the ones that cried “b-b-but… they must have CHEATED!!! No way Biden gets 81 million votes” after the last time he got smoked down), one fact remains. Trump CANNOT win in 2024, either.

  6. North shore has had a couple former Beaumont kids on it. Katy had a former bmt kid be QB1 for them, as well as former lineman. Bmt got more wins those kids stay and become a powerhouse of their own. Bmt has athletes, they just don’t stay and go find greener pastures.

  8. I thought hiring Barbay was a great move at the time, but this should be a home run. I haven't ever seen this kind of excitement surrounding a new coach for the Bulldogs!

  9. A politician needs to do two things to get elected…. Make it easy to vote for you and make it hard to vote for the other guy. Trump failed miserably on both counts. He might as well have offered cash to people if they’d just vote Biden. Does anybody remember the last time that a candidate won a major party nomination for President after losing squandering the party’s nomination on a previous cycle? As a general rule, the parties give a nominee a chance, and if he/she wastes it (like Trump in 2020), they don’t get another chance. Tricky Dicky Nixon was the last one. And he was a Republican that resigned after getting caught trying to cheat during an election, lol.

  11. Missed this post. Lady confirms how uninformed (mentally ill?) Far Left Loons are. Here’s a few simple questions for them. Can we make it rain in drought areas? Can we stop rain in flood stricken areas? Can we make Hurricanes dissipate - heat waves disappear - cold fronts warm up - and on, and on, and on. Based on the obvious answer to the above - NO - then tell us dear lady, if we can’t manipulate those relatively minor things, How in the cornbread hell are we suppose to change the climate for the whole planet? Is the planet warming? Probably is. Even a cursory look at historical climate data shows that the climate is always changing. Always has, always will. There’s quite a few reasons why and none of those reasons involved Fossil Fuels or MMGW. So what should we have learned? What these Loons want to do is a “knee jerk reaction” to a long term reaction by Mother Nature. What will the results be of their futile efforts? Global economic disaster and tens of millions of deaths from famine. Pretty much follows the Georgia Guidestones.

  14. Less than 1% change in Arizona. Less than .5% change in Georgia. Lastly, 1.5% change in Wisconsin (whose Supreme Court just ruled ballot drop boxes were illigal in 2020). Those small changes and Trump wins. Appreciate opinions, but claiming it's a done deal Trump loses 2024 is hard for me to reconcile. 81 million does not an electoral college make. Plus, 2 big issues, pissed off suburban moms at the DOE can change an election oulook real fast and Hispanic voting shift in Arizona flips that state with ease. Just things to ponder and unlike some, I know I may be wrong. Done deals and guarantees are nonsense. If someone can see any state that went for Trump and flipping to the 2024 Democrat nominee, feel free to demonstrate how. Will also state if DeSantis runs, despite trailing now in several straw polls, he could win the Republican nomination. Long shot, but....others have earned their party's nomination with much less name recognition this far out.

  15. You’re exactly right… another Dem would be a terrible idea. That’s why we need to nominate a candidate who can actually beat the Democrat nominee. Not the one who inspired 81 million people to vote against him in 2020.

  16. If you would've heard what Abseck said to CE King's coach about Crosby at the THSCA convention you would understand why their hype video looks like that. Common responses to the "What do y'all look like this year?" talk around the coffee pot in the morning from local teams' fans/parents. GCM: "Man, it's going to be tough. I'm just glad my boy is out there." Lee: "I mean, we're going to beat the other Baytown schools" Sterling: Their fans don't even like discussing football at work Anahuac: "I'm not sure but I think we were pretty decent last year. Have you seen our new subdivision though?" Dayton: "We really wanted Crosby this year, we think we can play with y'all. I think we'll be good though." Crosby: "We should be pretty decent. We're just hoping to stay healthy and make another run at state" BH: "I don't remember who we open with but we play Crosby the 4th game of the year" I'll see if I can find the video from the Vype photoshoot a couple of years ago when they asked the BH players about the upcoming season. Their response was akin to the hype video.

  18. Separation if you admittedly never watched HS hype vids then you probably won’t be able to understand why BH’s is laughable. Most teams show big hits and big plays throughout their season and maybe the scoreboard of some crucial games. For example showing the first qtr score from the FBM game and then the final score. You know stuff that hypes up the fan base. Not some highlights from a home loss to a div rival. I think BH is def on the rise but that hype vid is comical and proves that CHS lives in their heads.

    2022 Nederland Bulldogs

Ned is at a disadvantage in the numbers game. Been my contention forever that 5A-D2 has too big of a numbers gap, and Ned is one of the cellar teams. You can pop a good season every so often, but to confront it consistently is a long row to hoe. Jmo

  22. The mere fact that the Dems are still after Trump, tells me something. If they thought they could cheat again and get away with it they would totally ignore Trump because they've got nothing to worry about. Personally, I think we'll be ready for their cheating!
