What I think is rich, is the same side cheering on a leftist for assassinating a health insurance CEO in broad daylight on the streets of NYC, the same side foaming at the mouth because a lone juror didn't let a mother walk for savagely murdering her children, and the same side celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk and the attempted murder of the POTUS on live TV, suddenly has a problem with livestreaming the execution of a POS muslim extremist who murdered 13 US soldiers and injured 32 more. I won't watch, but I will be glad when that POS is sent to the pits of hell. I can only hope they rub the bullets in pigs blood before they shoot him.

Back to back wins for Crosby after back to back trips to the wood shed. Kingwood has been kind of the district gate keeper the last few years. So this definitely a big win for Crosby. Championship programs are built in a day. It takes a bit for everything to get aligned.

Mainly streaming...an overwhelming number of paid subscribers (over 90%) who stream games preferred to be able stream games from the app instead of logging into a separate website. The previous app developer and app platform did not have the capability to stream within the app....so we had to hire a new app developer and get a new format that will support streaming from within the app

Last night the app performed well, streaming worked and games were scored... Tonight is a much bigger test...hopefully all goes well, app remains stable w/the much much higher traffic... If that happens, next week the app team will begin tweaking aesthetic things here and there along with adding functionality

PNG’s not making it an issue and certainly isn’t claiming we have a strong district, and png went beyond nearly any team in the state to have a tough preseason.

I realize they beat Spring Woods and Aldine. I also notice that their losses have been closer this year than they have been over the last decade. They likely won't win any more games this year but it sounds like they're starting to get more guys out of that massive population spike to play football now.

One of the reasons they're so profitable is that there aren't many guys who can outplay me, so it doesn't seem advantageous to invite you. But I can give you a call the next time we're looking for players.

I do both. It's funny though. I will do extremely well in NFL for a season but not as good in college. Next year the complete opposite. But I can't complain too much. Over the past 15 years my win rate is right at 74%. (up thousands of $) Yes, I do keep stats on my plays. LOL

I’d worry more about Port Arthur being “ok.” Because if PNG’s not ok, we’re the best team you’ve played (partly because ya’ll chose to play weak-sauce Bellaire instead of a team that could actually beat you) and your short-bus district isn’t going to get you ready for the big boys. Playoffs are going to be a rude awakening for the titans.

Greetings all and sundry! Bandtober is upon us and the return of the annual UIL Region 10 Marching Band Contest is nigh! This year's contest will be held Saturday October 17, 2026 at Port Neches-Groves HS Stadium. The schedule shows 30 bands competing to earn that coveted Division 1 rating and the chance to move on to area competition and hopefully state competition. I am unsure of admission prices to the contest but last year, it was $7 ([Hidden Content]). As I have done the past number of years, I plan to attend and record all the bands. If y'all want, come say hi to me as I battle the weather elements and try to get the best video/audio recordings of our local high school bands. Once I get back home, I will start to edit the video and audio, then post onto my YouTube Channel. The weather might cooperate this year and actually feel like fall! As of today October 8, 2026, there appears to be a cool front arriving next Friday and might have temperatures in the 70s with a nice north breeze. Regardless, I still have to apply the sunscreen, bust out the big umbrella, and keep well-hydrated. A reminder that ALL classifications will have the opportunity to advance past region to area/state competition. Keep in mind that we have separate open class (contemporary-style) and military class tracks for state marching band contest. Some of my thoughts: - The contest is starting a bit later than last year (10:00am compared to 9:30am). - All bands that performed last year are returning this year to compete. - Lamar University is playing two exhibition performances, one after all the 3A bands finish and after all the 5As complete their performances. - Currently we have 3-2A, 9-3A, 12-4A, and 6-5A bands participating. Best wishes to all participating bands as they finish learning their music/drill and polishing up their shows in the next week.

Respect that. For the kids sake let's let the season play out. We can revisit this subject in December.

Former player from last year I asked said he's not liked by the soft ones.

We heard similar sattire when he was at LCM. He is a hard nosed and a disciplanarian and that doesnt jive well in alot of kids/parents worlds now a days. I can assure you he is a great coach and will never be liked by 100% because of his style.

Silsbee tournaments this year will be Nederland, Lufkin and Tarkington tourneys. Silsbee has home non district games against Splendora on Dec. 1, Hardin-Jefferson on Dec. 8 and Huffman on Dec. 15. Road non district game at Port Arthur Memorial on Nov. 28. Silsbee is also playing in the Texas Jamboree at CE King on Nov. 27

NFL legend Mike Ditka has passed away at the age of 86. RIP!
