  1. What happens next? Hopefully the GOP finds their balls, employs the nuclear option and passes the SAVE act before your commie friends take over (i.e. steal another election) and pack the supreme court, end the electoral college, add Puerto Rico and DC as states, and enact permanent democratic control all while pointing to the other side shouting "threat to democracy".
  2. The dems are always going to vote dem. But I always find it fascinating when the "concerned moderates" and "Never Trumpers" that "allegedly" have traditionally voted R, happily pull the lever for D. The Biden presidency was a complete disaster and a stain on our nation's history. Kamala said she'd "change nothing" about it so a vote for Kamala was effectively just an extension of the Biden embarrassment. The only explanation I can come up with for a traditional R to vote D, is that their brain has been broken by TDS and their soul corrupted with hate for the guy. I'm not getting everything I voted for (and none of us ever will), but I'm getting a lot of it. And it's infinitely better than if Kamala was in charge.
  3. Thank you for your input Coach Crumedy (or is it Mrs. Crumedy?). Sorry it didn't work out for you here in JasperπŸ˜„.
  4. What an insane take. First, you insist Trump staged his (3rd) assassination attempt. , then you pivoted to "it was trump's fault". It's quite the shame that the mods continue to let you troll this site. Seek help for your stage 4 TDS,
  5. We need some more of those "I did that" stickers that TDS sufferers spent their money on.
  6. Been a bad day for TDS and Never Trumpers
  7. No, unfreezing Iran's own $20 billion is not the same as flying in $400 million of taxpayer money in cold hard cash on a pallet in the middle of the night.
  8. I heard it was Toby's job if he wants is.
  9. Oh good grief! Moderators, take the trash out. So now we're all going to hell if we voted for Trump? If this isn't out of bounds trolling, I don't know what is.
  10. Oh the irony of this post
  11. The difference is a US Senate seat is national. Yes, the same pool of voters, but way more outside money, national media attention, dirtier campaigns, dark money, bigger endorsements, bigger campaigns, etc. I would still be shocked if the democrats flipped a senate seat in TEXAS, but the GOP set it up on a tee for the dems to have the best chance.
  12. Texas AG and a US Senate seat are vastly different campaigns. I've already heard republican friends saying they'd vote for Talarico. That's how bad of a candidate Cornyn/Paxton is. I will never cast a vote for Abbott or Patrick ever again and would have to hold my nose and vote R to try to save a Senate seat. Many won't even do that, they just won't show up to vote. I think this will be a lot closer than what you are expecting. But like you say...we shall see.
  13. I hope you are right, but do not share your confidence. Paxton is terrible.
  14. I strongly disagree that Talarico will be embarrassed by Paxton/Cornyn. Talarico is not Beto. He is a polished, experienced legislator, backed by the Democratic machine. He will get endorsed by national democrats and probably Joe Rogan and other big name independent thinkers. And then add a historically weak opponent in Cornyn (RINO, who pissed off most Texas conservatives with his ridiculous support of Biden gun legislation) and Paxton (crook and absolute scumbag). This one is setting up to be a nail-biter because of the failure of the Texas GOP, who's been hijacked by far right tea party religious zealots, who are more concerned with destroying public schools, subsidizing private school tuition for the wealthy, ten commandments and prayer time in school and primarying any moderate that stands in their way. You can thank looney Dan Patrick and bought and paid for Abbott for getting us to this point and giving moderate republicans and independents poor choices for candidates. It may now have serious implications on the national stage in the US Senate.
  15. Out of curiosity, what overall grade do you give Biden for his 4 years?
