You have to be the most negative fan I have seen in my life. When Neumann took over, Nederland wasn’t very good. He had to put his system in place and have it trickle down to the middle schools. It doesn’t happen overnight. Coach Lynch had undefeated teams and had players ready to play once they reached varsity and JV. You have to give it a chance. If they are so bad, why torture yourself? We have to remember these are kids and young adults. Maybe you should act like one and get behind your team instead of complaining.

They threw it in the scrimmages. Newton plays defense differently. Hooks called it "Russian Roulette". They crowd the LOS and rush more than you can block in a spread set. Doesn't give you much time to throw, especially downfield. It's also why they gave up multiple TD's of 50+ yards. If you break the LOS it's trouble... thus "Russian Roulette". Hoping to see the pass re-emerge this week.

I know people will disagree, but cover up the score, offensively, PAM looked better against PNG. I saw the defense give the offense a very short field. They can run ok, but gotta get this passing game working! Atleast both qb’s stepping up in the pocket. With the exception of about 4-5 passes, the rest was incomplete or went for a yard or two. Yes that was a question, why because several posters raved about all the talent they had this season. It was a sarcastic post because of all the ones bragging about all this talent. When I saw the WB game, I sure didn’t see a lot of talent. If they have this talent, they sure didn’t show it. I saw Nederland in person last week and WOS in their scrimmage against PNG. Nederland didn’t show me anything that says they’re at a point where they can contend with the combination of Jefferson and WOS’s passing game. Conversely, if Nederland runs the ball the way they did against West Brook they aren’t going to get much on the ground. This might be a three-score game by halftime.

Not going to lie… I am very shocked by this spread DCTF has… seems to me to be a little lopsided.

Not i don’t believe fights will happen, just solid hard nose football. Most of the time these schools know each other very well and many are buddies etc. just a fun game to watch. Rivalry games just mean more to those boys.

Particularly to a team that has a pretty good offense.

Give them a few more cameras, a good broadcaster director for the cameras, and just let the kids at NDN Press take over all the state championship games.

Lol. I have been on this board from the start; way longer than you have, and a couple of other boards before this one. Believe me, your not going to hurt my feelings. But whatever personal axe you have to grind with the program or the coaches, you need to sort that out. There is a difference between constructive criticism and just being negative about everything, and you haven't said a positive thing about anything on here. You don't see me on here saying that Ned is going to win district or go deep in the playoffs but there are positives and negatives in every game especially when you have teenage boys playing.
