Here is a list of the teams that have clinched the playoffs with two weeks left of the regular season. This list is only teams that have actually clinched. Not teams that are likely to make playoffs or could or should. Just the ones that HAVE punched their ticket to the playoffs. Teams are listed in alphabetical order and not by seed. Still need 25 more. 10-4A DI has all 4 of their playoff spots clinched. Last two weeks of the season will be very interesting.

Great game last night! LCM is just the better team. I thought BC defense was going to be tough but LCM proved that rumor false. LCM is just the better team this year. Good luck to BC rest of season.

Nederland fans have been spoiled for a long time. The reality is Nederland had a great coach in Neumann and benefited from always being towards the higher end of the district's enrollment numbers. Numbers play a huge factor in football and the Dogs are currently on the low end. To piggyback off the poster defending Monte, the kids have changed in Nederland. This is not a racial statement, but more an observation in parenting and blue collar mentality. The toughness that was once a staple isn't the same and because of it, the old camp fun way of doing things just doesn't work. More a shot at modern parenting than the kids themselves. This observation probably applies to more than just Nederland. This Nederland group just isn't all that talented...and they've had injury issues. Poor cycles and bad luck happen. I'm not saying Coach Rich is infallible, but his team last night wasn't even close to this PNG group. Lots of sophomores are getting major minutes and the underlevels still seem to be winning. The future is bright and I believe we can't judge this coach until he's had 3-4 seasons. There are ex-coaches in this thread with an ax to grind, disgruntled parents, and a bunch of others who have little clue as to what they are talking about. Remember, sports are supposed to be fun. If you can't watch without being miserable and wanting to fire everyone, its time to find something else to do. Go Dogs!

Another question to be answered for sure. 2 mins left and with a timeout left. If not fumbled it was a TD but I would not have wanted to leave 1 sec on that clock based on Jefferson having a night already. Just goes to show....High School football is awesome and heartbreaking.

There is still a chance for a three way tie for 1st. (as long as HF, Silsbee and WO-S all win next week, then HF beat WO-S while Silsbee defeats Shepherd in final week.) If that happens, Silsbee will be the #1 seed. Tigers finish with a +18 in points (21 point win over HF, 3 point loss to WO-S). Mustangs are a +3 and HF a -21. The point max per game is 21 so HF could beat WO-S by 22 or more but still would be a 0 in points. Best HF could do in that three way tie would be to beat WO-S by at least 12 or more points to get #2 seed. 11 points or less would have WO-S #2 seed. Of course, Shepherd still has a say in all this with having to play HF and Silsbee final two weeks. Also, WO-S wins out, they are district champs all to themselves. I am still sticking to my prediction: 1. WO-S 2. Silsbee 3. HF That 4th will be Shepherd now but I had either them or Jasper in that spot.

Lumberton dominated this game up front from start to finish. Raider run game was just way too much for the Hawks to handle. This will eliminate HJ while clinching the playoffs for Lumberton, BC, LC-M and Huffman. Seeds still remain to be determined. LC-M is 5-0. BC, Lumberton and Huffman are all 4-1. All the other teams (HJ, Livingston, Vidor and Liberty) can be no better than 3-4 with two games remaining. Livingston can only get to 2-5.

Well that's what I'm wondering with the firing of Barrow, if it's not the coaching , but the kids or lack of talent then why was Barrow fired!? I think he would've done just as good these pass two seasons if not maybe a little better (which is not saying much) if he was still there. But what do I know, I'm just going by what I'm seeing on the field, and it's not good!!! If they don't win any more games this season...Sheeesh

I must say. I’m thoroughly shocked. O was asked earlier today…. ‘Ey, are you going to the BU game’? I replied ‘ ____ no! I’m done looking at horrible football. And WB going to put 50 on us!’ Turns out I was wrong. I would have loved to have been in attendance to see BU pull off the shocker. Congrats, ‘Wolves!

The lack of discipline was stifling on both sides. I bet WOS had 100 yards in penalties. 4 penalties inside their own 10 2 of which wiped out long Jefferson runs then a lost fumble to end the quagmire at their own 5. It's quite ridiculous. Luckily, we have talent and were able to fumble and bumble our way to a win.

Neither team really looked good last night. I don’t know if they both decided to have turnover/penaltyitis/undisciplinitus or what the same game. Watched the game again. Crosby could do no wrong early. Best I’ve seen them play maybe all season. LP looked flat right off the bus, and didn’t really ever get any better. They made just enough plays to win. Ugly win. But—as they say—better than a pretty loss. Sometimes, these type games help the team refocus. Let’s hope that’s the case for both teams. I’d like to see 11-5A represent well in PO’s. Side note: Angleton fans are saying they lost their stellar QB (Duron) to a shoulder injury, and also their excellent receiver. Also hearing Iowa Colony lost their QB to shoulder injury. Hate to see injuries. At least LP & Crosby seemed to come away pretty much unscathed on the injury front. We can be thankful for that.

It starts with coaching.all the undisciplined penalties for nothing!! In 40 plus years w.o has never been been so undisciplined until they hired HH.pray that they bring someone in that knows the tradition and what is expected from the kids. And get back to basics.it doesn't matter what happens the second half the writing is on the wall.
