I belive this will be a match up nightmare for BH. Only thing Pam have problems defending at times is the misdirection run game and a very mobile qb when the pressure breaks down the pocket. If Bh trys to get into a track meet with Pam with its pass game it want end well for them.

crying on this site will not change it. You have to change your school board who has the power for the final hire on the superintendent and coach. we had a problem years ago at Burkeville and we got behind a select number of candidates (which I was one of) got elected and we changed the system which included getting rid of the superintendent. Lancaster will be 4th. Lancaster already beat Tyler. Tyler plays Longview and Forney for it's last 2 games. Lancaster plays NM and LP.

Honestly, our district going into playoffs will be 1. PAM 2. LP 3. BH 4. Porter Not sure who we all match up with though probably 1. Longview 2. McKinney North 3. Forney 4. Tyler High

Dayton won't win another game the kids are getting discouraged and down by the very poor coaching . There will be a mass exodus of transferers next year unless we hire a real coach and not a buddy boy.

Trying to stick to this season but BH will have a lot, I mean a lot of Senior starters graduating on both sides of the ball. They’ll return a few playmakers but a lot of unknowns. Most of the defense is gone. They need to find that identity now and make a run. IMO. I happen to know LP has a freshman kid that has some wheels and size coming up. I’ll probably be rooting for him at least. Other than that, I’m not rooting for LP. Lol that goes back to my days playing, I just can’t. Haha

You’re right about BH has to win the game, apparently by 10 to be seeded where they’d like to be. They have not proved they can beat LP with their dominant running game that definitively exposed some weaknesses. Even down two of our best run stoppers that may have helped slow some of the bigger plays, not very it would have changed the outcome. Despite all that, BH still had opportunities to win the ball game and could not capitalize. Arguably the rush they put on QB is what did BH in during the LP game. I’d say LP is the most well coached team BH has played. If they had a little more threat a receiver and didn’t have the drops they had in that game, they’d won by more. It’s my true unbiased observation.

I thought we’d see a slight decline in year one (maybe drop a district game) noticeable decline in year two (maybe a loss or two in district) and by year three post CT you’d be fielding an entire group that had never really played under him. Year three was when I thought it would start to really fall off… but in my mind, year three wouldn’t be as bad as the last two years have been already. If WOS goes a different direction (and I don’t think that they do… no time soon, anyways), it’ll be starting from scratch. It doesn’t matter if you run the 50 if the guy coaching it up can’t match the guy y’all used to have. I think the problem is still that WOS fans are still not realizing what made them great. It was a combo.. pretty good athletes, developed in a pretty good system, with great community support and an absolutely top notch HC. I’ll be the first to confirm that CT in Bridge City would have yielded a fair share of DCs, but I don’t know if we get any rings. But I also think that WOS would have little to no hardware to show for the last 25 years if not for CT and his player development, either. Help me understand… if the a man is a HC/AD and has the full support of his super, why would he resign to go be a line coach elsewhere? I’ll bet HH gets extended before he gets run off. The super is gonna let y’all know that football doesn’t run WOS anymore. He couldn’t have done it before, but the community empowered him with their protests.

You're right about the hair but wrong about being physical. Playing hard and being physical are two different things. My biggest concerns are replacing #58 who maybe out for the year and getting #6 back to help with the run game and pass pro We've seen the best QB in the district tonight and the best running back tandem in LaPorte Nothing Covehair High has bothers me from an personel stand point

Man the take away from this game is Bailey is a pinpoint accurate QB. This kid threw multiple 40 plus yard passes right on the money.

Even if they suffer a loss to Crosby, I believe the Dawgs wrapped up at least the 2nd PO spot with this win since they beat BH earlier this season. Could be wrong I guess if there’s a 3-way tie scenario. Not sure on tiebreaks. If it comes down to point differential between PAM, LP, & BH, that last second TD the refs gave BH in the LP game could hurt.

Not sure about this one. Beginning of year I thought Jasper would have a lot better record. WOS is still a solid team but factor in all the distractions they are having to deal with it has to be effecting the players. Jasper, loaded with talent, but missing something on the field. This happens sometimes, team loaded with individual talent but no on the field take charge player stepping up.
