I think it boils down to this, there are sorry people in this world regardless of what they look like. There is hate in this world regardless of what the person looks like. There is racism in this world and, like it or not, there always will be. In both of these scenarios listed above there were sorry people with hate in their heart. And quite possibly, both scenarios could have racism involved but we will never know and we can't prove it.4 points

Out of pocket supporting the medical community yesterday. Enjoyed catching up, reading these literary masterpieces. I feel sorry for those that think Tolkien, Dickens, Christie or Huxley are the ones to be admired, while SETXSPORTS has a plethora of literary genius. Only problem I had, with all the cuts & chops, I wasn’t sure if we were talking football or how to run a butcher shop. One thing for sure, I hope neither team suffers any injuries. Everyone will need all hands on deck against District 9. Continue on gentlemen. 😄3 points -

They don’t want to watch their own team play or do they just want to watch Vidor dominate a team they are rooting for again? Seems like we’ve picked up some haters along the way, must be doing something right. Even if the Pirates win LCM gets a share of the DC and goes in as the 2 seed. I figured they would be happy either way, maybe they just want to see us fall to #4 again but it’s understandable after we beat em pretty bad.3 points -

This topic has spun way off of the PAISD mask mandate but as long as we are talking religion in school…. I have see opinions repeated several times that when they removed prayer from schools, our problems started. If your child is waiting to get to school to find prayer, your problems started way before that. I don’t understand how you can be a Christian or any other faith and be a true believer but when you get to school, if they don’t lead you in prayer, you have somehow lost the faith. “I am 18 years old and have been a Christian and been baptized into my church but my teacher did not lead me in prayer today so I am now at atheist”? No……. As far as prayer in school, the Supreme Court has never outlawed prayer at public schools as claimed by some people. That is a myth. What they have banned was the government leading the prayer. One of the big cases in religious history was from the Wisconsin Supreme Court. It originally had no bearing on the rest of the country but it was cited by the United States Supreme Court later. In that case it was Christian versus Christian. The school led prayer from the King James Bible but Catholic parents protesting because the Catholic Bible was not allowed. Therein lies the problem with the government, a public school district, determining what you hear. It was an atheist against Christians, it was them against themselves. In another case a Jewish parent brought suit. The children were told to put their hands together in prayer at the beginning of a class. The father who brought the suit said he had no problem with the Christian faith and their praying and he believes in prayer also. His complaint was that in the Jewish faith they don’t put their hands together to pray. Maybe they cannot force his son to place at hands together but that would make him an outcast an open to ridicule because the government has now determined what prayers they would say. But by Supreme Court rulings, can students pray at school? Certainly. They can pray privately or they can meet in non-classroom time in groups and pray. Being on school property has no bearing. The prayer cannot be led, encouraged nor discouraged by the school. Some schools have wrongfully attempted to stop such prayer and the Supreme Court has upheld that right to pray at school. The popular way at one time of doing so was meet at the flagpole. If there were students who wished to pray, they got together before or after class. Schools cannot restrict religious writings at school such as an essay in class. Some schools mistakenly believe(d) that if you write anything religious in a class assignment it is unconstitutional but that has been ruled incorrect. If the assignment in English class is to write an essay on McBeth, then the essay would have to be on that topic. If the essay was for example on anything that interests you, the school would be violating a student’s rights by restricting religious speech in such an essay. So prayer is not forbidden at school, it is not forbidden in essays if that fits the topic at hand and it is not forbidden on school property. In fact to try to restrict it would be unconstitutional. Supreme Court has said that a moment of silence in school is allowed but again prayer cannot be led and neither encouraged nor discouraged by the school. The only issue is when the government tells you which prayers you will say or listen to.2 points

Our great country is based on the constitution. The problem is over the years the constitution has been warped depending on the interpretation of the sitting SC justices at the the time. Our country's downfall and potential demise is allowing the constitution to trump the word of God.2 points -

I wouldn’t just give Marshall a win against Rudder. It will be Rudder’s first playoff appearance but they are pretty solid. The teams in District 10 are all pretty good. There are no easy wins, so they should be ready.2 points -

Not sure what to say about the Dogs, except they started out good and look to end bad. I hope they show up Friday night and give Crosby a fight. I'd like to see Fuselier show off one more time for the home crowd. Dogs will be down by at least 2 td's. You Crosby folks come down to mid county and spend some money. Oh, and ugh congratulation.1 point

Absolutely true. But being right you’re talking about is it right in your mind only. You’re entitled because no government can tell you what to think. Even China and North Korea cannot control people’s thoughts. They can only control what they say and do in public. So you can pick any topic you wish and say “I disagree”. Of course if you say so publicly, you’re going by the United States Constitution under your freedom of speech. It doesn’t make you right, it just makes you legal.1 point

You can't come at me with the "Constitutionally wrong" argument and convince me that makes it right. 9 SC justices have approved the practice of killing our most innocent for convenience, it's "Constitutionally right". Just because some men and women have stamped approval on something and it's the official law of the land doesn't make it right...it simply makes it legal. There are going to be a lot of folks that stand before the ultimate judgement one day saying, "but, but, but it was legal."1 point -
A lot of things are not harmful. That does not mean you should be forced to do them under the guise of freedom.1 point

TBF - This is something you should be trying to do with that offense. Liberty Hill did it on every play until they got flagged for it. then waited couple plays and started doing it again. Sometimes it is an actual penalty other times it is the o-line knowing to wait 1 Mississippi after the snap to move. ball snapped quick everyone else moves, line starts moving .5s later and defensive line wasn't watching the ball just the guy in front of them. That's why you have to be so disciplined against that offense. They can change the pace on your over and over, fast then slow, then fast and not just the play development but also the snap pace, the amount of time under center can all change based on the time of game, formation advantages, and reads by the qb. This is the Db coaches telling players to grab jersey on the players side to stay locked into them. They do it until they get flagged but if they don't get flagged for a game why would they stop doing it. Also, same as offenses that hold on the interior on purpose until they get a penalty called. Same stuff different strategy. All those things are fouls but if they don't get called give you an extra advantage, so coaches do them until they get called. Surely someone who idolize Ole Bill wouldn't shy from a little rule bending to win.1 point

I think BF is a good coach. I am also cool with everyone having their own opinion. So if vendor don't like him that's great. BF has won 100 games at PNG that's right at 8 games per season. I know some would compare their coaches by SC wins. Over 2000 HS's fail that test every year here in Texas. The reason people have issue with FC is because winning at PNG is expected and always has been. I am cool with that also. I also like talking to intelligent football IQ fans who understand raw data and like to delve deep into it. So most of the time i have an appreciation for your posts. You aren't always right but at least you put some thought into it. I made my first post on a high school football website in 1999. My first on here was in 2006. I still have the email saved somewhere where Jdawg invited be over to join this page. I have spent hundreds of hours collecting data for PNG. I will always be an Indians and support them. Now myself and a couple other people are working on a collection of PNG football games on video. We have collected some amazing stuff. We have games from the 1955 SC team we have games from the 1975 SC teams. We have games from the 1990's and 2000s. I dont know how deep your love for Crosby is. I hope its one that lasts forever. If so maybe you could do something similar for the Cougar Nation so that generations from now their will be a catalog of information to share with young men and women who fall in love with Crosby sports like you have.1 point -
