    That is exactly what Coach and I discussed offline. Dodd actually had 34 carries against Nederland as well. It is a quiet performance that most dont recognize.

    The few that I've spoke with say he'll be given every opportunity to succeed. And that kids are encouraged to play all sports. Sounds like he's in it for the long stretch too. But its not gonna happen overnight at BC. As long as the younger kids have something to work towards, they'll stay the path and BC should be competitive. Maybe not DC conversation, but at least get some playoff wins.

    I’m at a parade this morning and will post some stats for the game and season after. As far as PG containing Miller, Silsbee actually didn’t target him much. Didn’t really need to when you’ve got a running back with almost 300 yards. PG had no answer for Dodd last night.

    U r right unfortunately the technology and the quick and easy ways of today doesn’t result in the quality we used to have I would love to get out and cover the teams in our area with stats if I could I miss the smack attack on 560 klvi after the games that resulted in area wide fun for all high school fans I wish we could have that era back.

    The Raiders fought hard to get back in. Too many injuries right now and another one tonight. And too many missed tackles on D especially the first half. One more non district game then a week off before district. Need the rest before district and hopefully get some of our injured players back

    Huffman looked unfocused. Homecoming week, day off with Nicholas, just one distraction after another. The good news is, with all that distraction, they still put up a dominant performance. #3 for Navasota is a stud. Kid can break tackles and stay on his feet after contact. He took some licks and just kept going.
