WOS did contact Carthage and was told no. That's actually true. There was some talk that Carthage might close school for COVID. But Coach T has been told no by multiple schools.

Telling every mayor and County Judge that you will never shut a church down again while you allow Home Depot's and protesters to gather at will with as many people as they want. An interesting matchup at this point in the season. BC has a bigger D-Line than CL and Liberty. But Huffman does not depend on size up front. Same as last year, Huffman offense can put up some points. They have quite a bit of team speed and are making plays when they need them. The defense hasn't seen a good rushing attack yet but tackle well and close very quickly. The secondary is good. I am certainly biased so I expect Huffman to win. Will the defense pitch another shutout? 3 in a row would be some rare air. Not likely but definitely possible. 42-7 Huffman.

Carthage and Manvel both scored 7 offensive points against Crosby in the first half. Tells me the staff is going to have us ready to play Friday too. You say the defense is strong but BH had 450+ yards of offense and could’ve easily gotten to 40+ points had their personnel been able to make a few more plays. I’m not expecting it to look like our third game of the season last year where the offense finally got going and dropped 55 on Montgomery after losing the first two and pretty much scoring the same amount of points as we have so far this year. I am expecting us to execute the best we have so far on that side of the ball though. If I could post the clips you would see how we missed three WIDE OPEN tds and could’ve had 42 on Manvel with just basic execution.

That is one of the great things about speculation. In 3 quarters of play, WOS managed 130 yards of offense and no touchdowns. In that same time Nederland managed almost 300 yards and 2 touchdowns… but WOS was on the way back. WOS very well might have come back. We will never know… But it sure is great speculating isn’t it?

For all of those that still think that it's not all about coaching, do not have to look any further than B. United. I observed PNG and United play. They have the talent to compete. You don't combine two Beaumont schools and NOT have the talent. Who ever hired this 0-30 coach needs to be questioned. Did any one honestly think that the outcome was be any different from what is happening? Again -- this is a shame for the kids and fans. AGAIN -- as shown here, it's all about the coaching!

Well it did for awhile, everyone has their opinion about the coaching situation at BU. Like what was mentioned earlier in this thread, lets just play the hand that was dealt to BU. Personally its just sad that our kids have to deal with it, my son has no earthly idea that I'm a lil upset about the coaching situation. So i'm just going to sit and enjoy my son's last 3 months of high school and head on to DUKE in January to start a new chapter in his life. I just hope things change for the better at BU for the kids sake!!!

I was very impressed with Silsbee's young squad. Especially Botley! Her poise and court vision is exceptional! Oh and her change of pace into the crossover is elite! Yes the score was very lopsided but Botley played practically the whole game and was very poised. Bright future ahead for this young Queen, she has a very high ceiling and has next level potential.
