  4. The conservative de facto response is always “the parents”. Have you guys ever once considered, maybe these people don’t have parents? Or Maybe the parents are absolute morons? Whats the kid to do then? Conservatives don’t have an answer. Never have, never will. See my previous reply on condoms in school, sex Ed in school, planned parenthood With that said - I’m outta this thread. Clearly minds are already made up, so no point in me discussing any further

  5. district games will be picked up the next day. i remember a heated PAM game vs Humble at home and game was called in OT. PAM came back the next day fans and all and played for a min or so and won the game. i think both coaches have to agree on playing a non district game the next day. $$ for travel etc..take into account of all that despite being a 20-30 minute drive.

  6. They do not reschedule or continue play for non-district games. If this had been a district game, then possibly. And no, nothing was given to anyone.

  7. They didn’t give anything to Nederland. The rules were followed with a game that was called due to weather. Nederland won. It happens.

  11. To me it’s kinda like the gun buyback programs. Nobody is turning in a gun for a little bit of money if they want the gun, and nobody is getting the shot for $100 that wasn’t already ready to get the shot. It’s unrealistic to offer a cash incentive large enough to convince someone who doesn’t want to get the shot. If you offered $1500, and someone could pay their house and car notes for a month, I could see someone changing their mind and getting the shot. But $100? That’s not going to make anybody take a shot that they already felt was so risky that they wouldn’t get it for free.

  12. I think it's dumb to give somebody $100 bucks to get them to take a shot that's costing the US taxpayers who knows how much. Take it or don't. Mandates aren't right, either.

  13. Carthage is able to field two sides of the ball consistently with almost none playing both ways. They have been doing that for years now and you have to be supremely talented to slow them down. If your defense is rested then you have the best chance to do that. As for the Vidor game.... It amazes me when people say outcoached. That is the good and bad side of some fans from Silsbee. Never happy, no matter the effort, and that effort from a young team was just fine in my eyes. #tigernation

  14. I watched the game. Crosby had one big play and one long drive (probably 65-70 of Jone's yards were on that drive). the entire game, and Crosby was behind by the time your QB was limping. Your best drive was when he was too hurt to pass and had to hand the ball off. Now maybe Crosby's offense sucks, but y'all really didn't do much of anything against Carthage's D. I'm not a fan of either team, but just an interested observer. I don't think Carthage has a defense that could stop Manvel, but they made Crosby look pedestrian, even after their offense gave y'all the ball 5 times in the first half, often with great field position.

  18. I believe in rights to one’s body. It’s just that when it comes to being responsible for the life of a child, I lean towards life every time. The woman is selfish enough to consider murdering what she created while being irresponsible. Why wasn’t she concerned enough about her body beforehand to protect herself? I wonder, all the people on here who have kids…..did they have ultrasounds done during the pregnancy? I bet they did. Were they happy to hear a heartbeat, see some type of movement? These things are what make us smile knowing our babies are alive and well. Heartbeats and movements do not happen to dead babies, so how can we say they are not living and exterminate them? I never get a response to my miscarriage question.

  21. Lumberton definitely winning this one, might be by double digits.

  22. That’s usually how wins and losses happen. The only reason Columbus lost to Lumberton is because Lumberton outplayed and outscored Columbus. Lol. Try again coach.

  23. You would think that to be common sense. Unfortunately, abortion is a convenient form of birth control. Instead of parents talking to their kids, offering condoms or the pill (as tough as that may seem - done that), using adoption as an alternative (accidents happen “OMG it broke!”), alternative ejaculation methods (oral, manual, anal) or just plain abstinence. Everyone of those options trumps murder by abortion (oh no, did I just say “trumps”).

  24. I agree. I have both and I made sure that my son had protection at all times. I have had talks about sex and using protection with my daughter, but I haven't gone to the same level that I did with my son and that is part of the problem with young girls getting pregnant. My point is hollering to keep their legs closed is not the answer. Young people need places to get free protection be it birth control pills or condoms especially in the inner city's.

  25. There's actually a video of him hitting from 60 in one of his workouts. I believe it was 47 yards he hit from easily earlier in the game. 35 yards would've been a chipshot for him. I commend coach for believing in what he had on the field though. Kid that dropped the open 4th down play is our best receiver and catches that ball 99/100 times. As long as everybody can stay upright I think you'll learn more about Crosby this week than you did last Thursday.

  28. That is his way of calling PN-G fake Indians. Not sure if you knew this but apparently those SFA Eagle kids really had wings and the others had real stingers. They were keeping it real. Shout out to Huntsman (Indorama) for paying off refs when they come to the Rez as 1985 can't see it any other way.

You're not kidding. They don't make districts like this one anymore. Back in those days, I thought we played the best football in the country in Southeast Texas....

  35. 1. Depends on how bad the infraction is. 2. if it’s persistent 3. It’ll be the entire site, but I’ll be watching this forum closely because it accounts for the majority of these things. 4. Use common sense. I’m not going to get worked up over certain words not used in attacks. Idiot isn’t a bad word, but if you call another member that, it’s breaking site rules. Bunghole is probably okay, but again, not in a personal attack. F-word is one of those bad infractions listed in #1

  37. I think Prieto knew he could run the ball on Carthage but that was not the goal. I believe he was more interested in getting the QB some game reps. With the defense on the field as much as they were it would make sense to run the ball to give them some rest. But they did not They actually went in to hurry up. Could be bad coaching or a method to the madness. Either way he lost a winnable game

  38. I think the Raiders win this one by a few scores. A lot of young talented guys on offense and a very scrappy and experienced defense.

    Week-2 Game Cancellations

Years ago we did away with the mumps, measles, chicken pox etc. by vaccinating all our kids at school age. With all the illegals coming into this country that are not vaccinated we are probably going to see a rise with those viruses again. Things are only going to get worse.
