I don't know if its true or not, but I've been told it was some crotch grabbing and the refs caught the retaliation...

I am expecting the Burkeville at High Island and Sabine Pass at Deweyville games scheduled for Friday to be moved to Saturday.

Not worried about our Orange County neighbors. They've always had a great football program. They're proud of that football tradition and it has been earned. But I'll not pretend that that both of our communities don't have classless individuals. Silsbee has unfortunately been involved with some pretty serious actions in high school sports but to pretend that ANY of the surrounding communities haven't had their own share of embarrassing or shameless acts is what I find so hypocritical. I love this town. I love most of the ideals that come with living here. Just as many of you love your communities. Leave it at that and quit lumping the whole town, any town, and it's citizens Into one pot. That is what's shameful. Good win this week Stangs and as always good luck. Until next time.

I think beating up on poor Lumberton gave some people unrealistic expectations of what to expect from Silsbee this year. We lost a lot from a year ago. We're really young this year and a little rough around the edges. Hopefully we can get some things cleaned up and show some improvements the next three games and carry that over into next year.

It's hard to get up for every game. You would think that it would be easier for kids to do that. I remember being excited for all of ours, but some of them were pretty damn electric.. We should understand that as adults. I rarely get fired up to go to the office every day. LOL

There's no love lost between us and the Tigers, but some of us are more vocal about it than others. I respect AAW and a couple of other contributors of theirs immensely. but it doesn't bother me that they aren't any good this year. We get a lot of crap for being reluctant to schedule them and I've been critical of that myself at times. Maybe people will start to understand what that was all about, including me.

Hopefully Nederland will score a lot of points vs PNG. Appears that there defense is weak. Gave up 31 to Lufkin who is now 1-2 and 20 to Jacksonville who has not won a game. PNG is averaging 33 a game

The way I look at it is that it’s better than nothing at all. I’ll keep paying $9.95 a month for the games I can’t attend. I also like watching another games too.

I watched most of the United Sterling game. Ball vs Sterling will be a good game. Balls got a big WR #2 on offense and we held him to 1 or maybe no catches. Defense had a couple moments but not enough. United 42-6

I was on the sidelines for this up until the 7 minute mark of the 4th with BC up 34-21. Left to go catch the 2nd half of WO-S/Silsbee game. Never should have left. Porter is a play maker for HJ. Impressive since he has not played football since the 8th grade. I believe this is the most "basketball" players I have seen play football for HJ. Great to see. BC looks very solid. Was a bit surprised they ended up losing this game. Cards pretty much controlled the entire game up until I left with 7 minutes left. Both teams have good chances to make playoffs.

Boy, it’s gotta be tough in Tiger Land after getting rolled by both Jasper and WOS. it’s a perfect opportunity for one of the teams on the outside (BC, HJ) to steal a win from the Tigres.

You know the last 2 years they lost to WO-S in their district games. Remind me of how those two years finished up. Also, has Vidor ever finished up like that?

Good lord this is seriously a shame. Ball shoots out 10 yards in the backfield on a big hit. DV QB recovers and runs to sidelines. Braces himself (turns back into multiple tacklers on a 8 yard loss). 15 yard face mask call against HD. No freaking way. Ridiculous. 1st down pirates instead of 3rd snd 14. 21-5 penalty score. HD dominating

I agree. Silsbee will lose to WO-S. Just like Vidor. But the talk of Vidor would beat Jasper and Silsbee back before Vidor had even played a game was ludicrous. Then they eek out wins over Brazosport and Bay City, two teams that really aren't that good. Heck, Lumberton proved that with one of them and Silsbee destroyed Lumberton. Based on what I have seen from Vidor this season (game film I have watched) I just haven't seen the team that some Vidor fans were speaking of early in the season.
