I’m reminded of that old joke where the Cop pulls over a car with two guys in it for reckless driving.   The driver mouths off at the Cop and the Cop slaps him upside the head.  The driver shuts up.

Here are my takeaways from the election.  

1.  The Pollsters got it all wrong again.  We need to stop paying attention to polling data, or at least stop emphasizing it.

2.  The Senate will stay Red, and we actually gained a half dozen or so House seats... that goes a long ways towards dispelling the belief that Conservatism is finished.

3.  Because the Senate will remain R controlled, there will be no packing of the Supreme Court, Green New Deal, or any other sweeping partisan legislation (Like the ACA)... this is a good thing.

4. Trump carried more votes in South Florida (Miami Dade) in 2020 than he did in 2016.  I believe that this is a result of immigrant communities from Venezuela and Cuba strongly denouncing the Socialist platforms so beloved by liberals today.   

5.  Even poorer Hispanics in South Texas voted more heavily for Trump in 2020.  I think it's a result of the Democratic push to convince us all that BLM.. in fact, they're the only ones that matter.  If you're poor and black, it's systemic racism.  If your poor and brown, they don't give a darn.  You'll also find that most poor Hispanic communities value hard work, personal accountability, family, religion, and conservative personal finances... every single one of which is frowned upon by the Democratic party.  I think the opportunity for Repubs to make inroads with Hispanic voters is now.... especially without a rich dude yelling "build the wall" and "they're just a bunch of rapists."

6.  Senators across the county outperformed Trump.  Cornyn here in Texas is an example.  He's a nobody, with all of the charisma of a lamp.  But he actually got a higher percentage of votes than Trump.  So much of this election was a personal rejection of Trump, nothing more.  There are two things that a candidate needs to do;

Make it hard to vote for the other guy (which Trump kinda did).

Make it easy to vote for you (at which Trump failed miserably).

Smh, Biden down only 45k votes in freakin’ GEORGIA right now! Most of the count coming out of guess where, mostly minority Fulton County. Biden has been killing trump pretty much 3-1 on mail in votes and still 12% left to count in PA, mostly out of Philly and the surrounding suburbs. What I’m suspicious about is militia group gathering outside the location where they’re counting votes in Maricopa county right now. I mean, Fox already called it?

Nothing should be called until all ballots are counted, and they then can be released at the same time!

Sorry but I was hoping you’d address Philadelphia not allowing Republican Poll Watchers to oversee the count process.   If there is a militia group gathering in Arizona, they aren’t breaking the law that I’m aware of.  You’re concerned about them but not the Dem rioters & mobsters that have caused businesses in Dem controlled cities to spend millions of dollars to barricade their stores?   Fascinating!

Maybe Cougar, you can explain why, to attend the DNC Convention you must have a photo ID, but yet the Dems think none are required for voting.   To me, Voting is more important than attending the DNC Convention.   This mail-in Voting is a farce.  It leaves the voting process open to all kinds of voter fraud.  My vote is to important to see it barraged and discounted by fraudulent votes.

you need to go back and look at history when it comes to Supreme Court nominations when the potus and  senate are of the same party.

Just got texted an interesting post/picture.  Since I can’t post pics on here, I’ll explain.

A picture of a Biden Harris lawn sign.   At the bottom, it says:

Text READY to 30330.

Guy that posted it said he divided the year, 2020, by the number of the Anti-Christ, 666.   What did he get, 3.0330.

Just a coincidence?   A longshot?   Or is it the Devil in the details?   Food for thought.

You mean the trump campaign guy who tried to come in and watch but wasn’t assigned to that poll location, yet was let in after a rule change to specifically rebuke the claims of cheating you’re making? It’s crazy people think you have to cheat to beat a president who’s carried the lowest approval rating since Carter. The sycophants really do though. 
 

I mean, to be honest I’m more concerned about the reason they were rioting. I’m more worried about my sons ending up like George Floyd versus some broken glass and burning buildings which are all insured.

      That was an awesome video!  I feel so proud of these young men.  They proved the doubters wrong.  Bellville should be proud, too.  I know it didn't end like they had hoped, but we've been there, so we can definitely empathize with them.  Great season, Brahmas!

      Meh.. Everyone knows this. The kid that got injured wasn't lifting weights. Supposedly he was hit with a helmet in his elbow. In my opinion the kid shouldn't have been put in that situation. AD should've told the Varsity baseball players to sit that one out. I have no issues with the lifting or conditioning. However, anytime helmets/pads are on there is a higher risk of injury. This AD showed a total lack of respect for HIS baseball program.

      Maybe.. however..  Many athletic director / head football coach have lost their job despite the athletic program as a whole being successful.. if the football team struggles.  On the other hand, when football teams are doing great but the rest of the program stinks.. AD/HFC still keeps their job. WOS.  Newton. .. programs as a whole were fairly weak during those many years of football power and very few people even knew it.  Or cared. Yet, AD/HFC kept their jobs for years. Meanwhile, I remember an AD/HFC at Barbers Hill lost his job after every program in the school won district championships and even had several team sports (baseball, softball, girls hoops, etc.) making runs at state.  But the football team was mediocre.  Fired. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that perception is reality.  And the perception is that your athletic program can suck as long as football wins.. it doesn't matter how strong the athletic program is if football sucks.
