One thing I've learned about the slot T is its really hard to come from behind and I expect LH to be behind very early and throughout the game. PNG defense is too much and offense should be able to rack up pts against LH defense. Already looking forward to making the trip up to Arlington for the most likely PNG/SOC rematch which should be a more electric atmosphere than last year with it being on Saturday and hopefully a PNG state championship!!

You do know where the announcers are from don't you. And as a Buckeye supporter I admit they go WAY overboard ALL the time. But, they are former players, they do the job for free, and they love their home team as much as any of you love theirs. And when they play the games back, I know they do sometimes say "why did I say that". They will tell you themselves they are straight up homers and if you don't like it don't listen to them. And p.s..... I ain't one of them 🤣

In many ways Huntsville was a tougher game than LC. With LC, their points came off of 1 busted coverage and 2 fumbles. Huntsville actually had a sustained drive on their own. (And 1 drive with very obvious assistance from the refs.) Like the sentiment in the quoted post says, watch out for Huntsville in 2024.

In 2024, Region III may run through Huntsville. At times, they played 9 JRs and SOPHs on defense. They have size, quickness, and they were physical. The Hornets practice tackling and it shows. They don’t arm tackle. Plus, Huntsville will return their QB and RB. They will be tough next season. All that said, PN-G handed out hits of their own last Friday. It’s hard to run the ball when there are 9 defenders within 5 yards of the LOS. When PN-G gets the lead, the coaches will squeeze the clock. Second halves may not look pretty, but the formula works. I’ll take 26 wins over the last two seasons and there’s a good shot we can rack up 28 wins in our last 32 games. Sign me up for more ugly second halves.

Wimberley plays the run better than anyone Bellville will see. They also have a great offensive line. Bellville will be tested for sure. Ill say Bellville 34 Wimberley 30.

Bellville did not look as locked in against Jasper as they did against my Tigers from the week before. With that being said IF they play like they did against Silsbee I dont see ANYBODY beating them but on the flip if they play like they did against Jasper I think Wimberly beats them . That QB for Wimberly is a grown A** Man and is legit !!

The LH Oline might have one kid bigger than our Outside Linebackers. I just dont see how they will block our D-Line. I know the maddening movement of their offense is supposed to level the field but last year our D Coordinator made their offense look like a cheap version of Vidor's. (no offense to Vidor). PN-G needs two stops on defense. LH will not stop the offense. We play a clean game and we might score 50+. I never get overconfident about any game but I will say this might be the most favorable matchup we have had yet in the playoffs this year.

They are playing well My only take after watching the 2nd half vs Huntsville is that the offensive lineman did not block very well , so the running game was poor that half well that half. They will have a size advantage vs LH, however they are going to have to block much better to get the running game going. I did not see the 1st half, maybe they blocked better in that half

SETX teams are accustomed to be playing in heat, humidity, rain, refinery and paper mill odors, plant explosions, hurricanes, and heavy fog. But I think they like it at NRG and Jerry World just fine. The Indians have had a tough couple of games for the past 2 weeks, but I think they'll be ok against LH as far as the off and def lines are concerned, and the DBs and LBs as well.

It's easy. Allow the commercial feed straight to NDN Press for the YouTube stream. Double the exposure for the sponsors. Then get Bally's to use the kids during a special 10 min segment of the real broadcast. They can also do a whole feature on the program during the halftime show. This is all for the kids. Great move for Bears, why play a school like mentioned before 2 yrs ago refused to switch home and away when supposedly your cross town friends field wasn’t finished. Also had fans outside the gate this year till end of second quarter while every WOS fan was in bleachers. Also LCM signed off on kid to go back to WOS and play this year and in return WOS refused to sign off on kid who wanted to play at LCM. The truth is that WOS refused because they’re scared of a mass exodus from a fallen program. I’m sure with other teams graduating a bunch this year means things might seem to get better next year but true fans know it will not ever be the WOS of old. 40 years tradition gone.
