  1. Just got to hotel. Scratching my head why PNG never rolled a safety over to help CB all night. SOC QB just threw it up and their athletes just do their thing. I think rolling a safety over the top would’ve help. SOC rarely was able to get to second level running ball. I would’ve took my chances. Also, PMG became too predictable on offense.

  2. I don't see what PN-G could have done different defensively only giving up one TD is a good accomplishment

  3. I can settle this all right now lmao 🤣😂 Just like with Port Arthur Memorial someone had a bright idea to create a song before said game and go mini viral: i blame both losses on the songs lmao 😂😂😂😂

  6. SOC definitely made some adjustments defensively, they are really sound on that side and have been for a few years.....the DC is well regarded and has worked at places like A&M and Boise State.....when PNG was pulling they were able to outnumber SOC because they had schemed SOC well and appeared to have figured out some of their rules....SOC made one adjustment on the fly in the 2nd Qtr, but it left them vulnerable w/o a 3rd level defender and thats wheh Nguyen busted the long one down to the 3 and they made it 17-5. They cleaned getting outnumbered on the pull and then they made a change at LB that helped. SOC offensively isn't complex, but sometimes being simple is best....they didnt trust Little in the 10 personnel (4 wide 1 RB)packages all year and PNG had a great scheme to deal with SOC's running game when they were 20 (3 WR, 2 RB) ....so they decided to trust Little more and we saw more 10 personnel in the 2nd half.....

  8. Congrats PNG. Any season that you play 16 games is a great season. Lots of good players coming back next season too.

  9. You’re on drugs. PNG is one skill pos away from having a state title. Just one dynamic QB or RB.

  10. 34-24 > 34-13 I almost got it. 🤷🏾‍♂️ PNG played better than I expected. Kudos.

  11. Game honestly shouldn’t be close PNG outmatched at every position but props to PNG for being able to keep it close due to SOC being so poorly coached

    Png 2023 ??

Off the top of my head, roughly 9 or 10 on defense, and 9 or 10 on offense, but note that my post said "players", not "starters". Depends on how one defines "starters", since there were various starters due to injuries. As an example, #16 and #6, starting Sr linebackers, missed several games due to injuries, and #26 a Jr, and #43 a Soph, "started" against Dayton, Texas City, Willow Ridge and maybe 1 or 2 more games. Others that came up and played included RB #15, and WR #88, both Sophs if I'm not mistaken, and also #42 on defense. Others "started" on special teams, and were back-ups or otherwise saw playing time. The speedy WRs, #18, #10, #84, will be hard to replace, player for player. But the offense may have a slightly different look, presuming #19 becomes starting QB. Adams will be more of dual threat than Crippen was (with all due respect to Crippen); and he was a pretty good QB in middle school and part of his Soph season before he was moved up to varsity. Next season will be interesting.

  21. Which is why I said the game shouldn’t have been close but it was due to the lack of coaching on SOC’s behalf

  23. Wait, so you actually follow football at the lower levels now. This is contradictory to when you lead me to believe…. 🤷🏾‍♂️

  25. What they should do is when shea Adams instead of making him up the middle they should have made him throw a trick play

  30. The safeties hurt PNG the most IMO, not only the four free points but the FG and TD on a short field after the free kicks.

  31. The PNG QB played like AS material against LH. He could play for me anytime. He was overwhelmed with the SOC speed & size tonight. Lot of teams have size. Lot of teams have speed. Not many have huge size & track speed like SOC. Just the opinion of another guy who knows nothing about football.

  34. I get that you don’t understand football at high level bro but I do…I pay attention to things like schematics (which I’m sure you have clue about) SOC scheme is rudimentary & they’re poorly coached on both sides of the ball. PNG’s success in the run game came because SOC wasn’t lined up correctly to their formations…luckily they have better athletes & no NS isn’t the only team that’s well coached but you’ll see the diff tomorrow.

  35. If SOC goes on to win this I ask PNG folks don't be like alot of Argyle folks last week and this week. I trust that yall wont be, at least I hope not. At least yall got to State, they didn't.

  36. Yeah, he’s a kid. Ought not use that characterization on a kid, true or not.

  37. Just think what they would be doing with a quality QB. I'm not hating on the kid either but he isn't near 1/4 of what that QB from last year was, and I was saying that way before this game tonight. PNG is playing great tonight especially in the trenches.

  39. Let me just say that year in and year out you guys have the best fans I have ever seen. Just a freaking incredible turnout. And everyone of them is involved in what’s going on. I love my alma mater, and there was a period of time from 2000-2011 where they showed out, but you go now and half the people who do go are on their phone. Congrats, and y’all gonna win by 10.

  46. I’m sure the coach had some good input from his dad. I do think if it was anytime but a 7pm kickoff, they would have went up today.
