I agree. PN-GISD and PAISD need to communicate and coordinate. Great opportunity for a NRG doubleheader. I hope both teams win after Thanksgiving so they can have another shot at making that happen. SETX would buy some tickets and rally for those two schools...not just PN, G, and PA...it would be Ned, BC, WOS, Beaumont, and other surrounding schools. Missed a good opportunity for this upcoming week. Need to make it happen the following week. Go Indians. Go Titans.

Man, a lot of people say the same of PNG. I don’t know I’ve seen a fan base that follows the team as deep as they do. They just fill stadiums up.

It is very much an honor. I’m an old school Cub and I have never stopped being involved on some level. We had a good team. I played at the old stadium on behind the old school on market street. We ran into a buzz saw in the third round my senior year. West orange stark dropped from 5A, and were too much. I miss Coach West, and all of his assistants that built that program into one of the best in the state from 2000-2017. Hopefully the second choice after he left will be a better coach than that clown. From 2020-2021.

He’s within in his 7 years for a state championship tho at WB? The jury is still out for Lumberton coach if he can win a state championship within 7 years tho.

It will be a good game. Lots of folks in the community off Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving, so I feel there will be a good fan base from our area for this playoff game. Good Luck INDIANS!

Crazy game. We had three games in a row that year that had very stressful endings. We are decent I guess. Talent pool is way down compared to the onslaught of talent that went on for about 15 years or more. Coach West is gone, then they hired some guy that really hurt the program the two years he was there. The jury is still out on their new guy. I can say one thing. They do seem like they are more disciplined and in better shape than they have been. We always have had great speed. Size is an issue right now. I see PNG winning this game. Hate to say it, but that last coach set us back. Good luck

I've had my eye on Lumberton for several weeks now and they have not disappointed. Very good football team on both sides of the football. A district championship and 3rd round playoff appearance echoes that. Historic territory for L-town. I think Lumberton is capable of winning this game. That said.... Chapel Hill is a dangerous animal. They may look sloppy on film a lot of the time with turnovers and penalties and such. But make no mistake, they can score the football from anywhere on the field at any time... and their defense can absolutely get after you when they want to. Soph RB Ricky Stewart is the guy you really have to worry about. Kilgore's defense is one of the best in the state and Stewart gashed us for over 200 yds rushing. If you key on him then the QB Brisbon can hurt you just as badly with his legs and arm. They have 3 WR's that are dangerous (not even counting the D1 receiver they lost in week 10 for the season). IMO, the best player on their team is #52 who plays offensive and defensive line. They can definitely be beat, but you'll have to play very clean and be + 2 or 3 on turnovers.

I can’t tell ya who’s gonna win this game, but I can tell ya that the Raiders will compete and the culture within the program has changed and will continue to as long as Reyes is here. We are more physical than some give us credit for. We are not one dimensional as we were in the past. The better, more athletic team does not always win. Any given Friday! I believe the Raiders win this game and shock BEast Texas. I believe in our coaches to lay out the plan and our boys to execute the plan. #fullthrottle

Hearing some strings were pulled to get this game. Former alumni helped. Two historical programs. Brenham has great fans and its always a pleasure to play them. Very similar to playing Dayton. Classy program top to bottom. I also wish we could play with the awesome PAM team.

Well, we better clean up what we did in that second half. Wouldn't mind seeing Mason Droddy carry the rock some more.

I've worn a huge jacket every time to NRG, hidden compartments everywhere for food, in the stands eating salt and pepper wings, smoked sausage etc.... Only had to purchase a Texans cup (in which I hated) but I got free drinks with it though.

Surely the premier 4A game this week. Imo this game fits the old adage, He who makes the fewest mistakes wins the game. We’re talking fumbles, interceptions, crucial penalties (especially the dumb, needless, unsportsmanlike conduct/personal foul). Lumberton has to man up & stay in check. Forget needless remarks or incidental pokes & pinches. Usually the one retaliating gets the flag. They’ll get caught sooner or later. You can win but make no mistake, these guys aren’t just good, they’re very good. Raiders just need to be a cat hair better. Go Raiders! ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

Brenham was legit 09-10 for sure, but Brenham is always good. Even down, Brenham is solid. I see a toss up. Depends which team shows up and how the ball bounces. It will be awesome. And I have to say the Brenham green looks good. I wish we’d start putting each other on the preseason.

Yeah, we just don’t have the animals up front like we did in prior years. Good skill position players, with good speed. New coach has a wide open offense as opposed to the run first philosophy like before. They are alright, kinda inconsistent. They had Lake Creek on the ropes in the 4th qtr a couple weeks ago before we made a couple is stupid mistakes and Lake Creek scored twice in like two minutes. It’ll be competitive.

I noticed the PA players showed up to watch PNG vs Montgomery last week at the Rez. Thought it was really cool they were there.

I didn't consider the contract aspect. I live in the real world with Right to Fire in Texas. Govt jobs smh

I reckon Coach King of Longview would never agree to a neutral site playoff game in the city of Houston versus Port Arthur Memorial. Hell I'm shocked we're playing at Abe again, apparently he doesn't like playing there, Coach Morgan must have won that toss.

BH traveled well. Defense dominated most of the even with facing a O-line averaging over 300lbs. Issue was on offensive side between play calling and falling short on making plays. Just wanted y’all to know score didn’t indicate the kind of game it was. Very exciting game and as a whole BH played great and showed out.

He was spreading the ball around this game again. I think what the other poster was getting at is continuing to do that, there were a few games before where it looked like Goodie was the only WR he was looking at. I think Green is going to have a good game next week.
