Thanks. Another game where we won the stat sheet but this time we lost the game. I hope this wakes everyone up and they play with a purpose the rest of the way.

What happened to Vidor? Early season talk (mostly Vidor fans) had them beating any area 4A school.

LCM gets the ball down to the 5 yard line. 3 straight loss of yard plays. Kicks the field goal to take a 10-7 lead. About 2:40 left I think. Huffman has a great return to the LCM 27. Has a 4th and 2 on the 18 (I think). LCM takes another TO. Huffman converts, scores 2 plays later. Kick off goes out of bounds. re kick goes to the 35 but there is a penalty. LCM is back at their 25. :47 secs on clock. LCM incomplete pass LCM QB fumbles. LCM players just standing around. QB throws the interception and its game over. 12 seconds left. it takes zero talent to have some football IQ there at the end of the game. that’s a coaching issue.

Keeping my fingers cross that by March 2021 we will have this virus under total control and The UIL would reconsider on Huntsville. It was nice and convenient to see all 4 teams playing at one location. Having the opportunity to see the 2 teams that will play Saturday on Friday Night at one location is nice and it cuts down on travel and lodging.

Lmao!!! We won’t get 3 of the 2-way starters back and our best OL had ACL surgery a week or so ago. So that’s 4 huge losses. But like I said, that’s football. The offense that we ran when Steven Walker was the quarterback was a great offense. Then we had Tiger at QB and Spikes at running back. Those two young men had that option pitch down to a science. Like I said in my earlier post the offense is so vanilla but if you add just a few sprinkles and some chocolate syrup it'll be a whole lot better.😊

But keeping it real, I’m not as impressed as I was before the season started. Like y’all, Lumberton is riddled with injuries. Bad ones. One of them a 3 year starter. But that’s football folks. Anything is possible at this point. There is a lot of parity in this district. Hell, Livingston and BC were a “gimme” the past couple years. BC left and Livingston is seemingly better than they were. I think any team can win on any Friday (or Thursday/Saturday) at this point. I hope 55 gets better. That kids impressive. Even though we have to play y’all, I’d like to see him be able to play this season for his sake.

Who knows man. Our defense is playing well to keep us in the game. But our offense is playing poorly. So when your defense is out on the field all night big plays happen. I expect a good ball game honestly

You almost have to play a goal line look against their shotgun offense to stop the run. I think you have to put the corners on islands and just tell them to man up. Put one safety over the middle, put 4 of your biggest boys on the line of scrimmage. Everybody play stop #22 until they prove they can throw it. I didn’t see any big play receivers and their QB didn’t run at all. It was simply a 1 man show that beat you with the same plays over and over. Why run the same damn defense when it obviously isn’t working? So what if you play a 3-4 make changes, make the other team do something else to beat you. Same thing goes for our offensive play calling, be versatile have the ability to change your game plan if it isn’t working. We could have won that game if we would have done things differently but my aunt would be my uncle if she had a set.

Yes sir we have been out coached all yr and the qb is good if he has a big hole other than that he is soft and we run him way to much what a disappointment this is

Been watching him too, great size but he has a low motor and poor effort on defense.
