WB and United has the same amount of talent and athleticism. There is a huge difference in coaching though... but it's also a mind thing. I dont know what it is, but when WB lines up across from United (and Ozen and Central), you just get wierd and uncharacteristic play. I just don't get it.

Fans run down coaches kids Lose respect not good for program.

Could it be that kids aren't buying into the program? I haven't sat on a WB side for a game, but I have for a Central and a Ozen one and it sounds just like a Memorial Titans game. Everyone is talking down on the program. Every players parent knows more than the coach. If the parent doesn't fully support the program, why would the kid that's playing? I don't know if the culture has changed for BU as far as fans go, but if you have kids playing for themselves and not fully trusting the system, you tend to break down when things get tight because it turns into hero ball.

I posted something similar few months ago, i think some of the answers will be different since we're late in the year, but obviously it's coaching at the moment that's #1 on the list.

A list of approximately 70 applicants, even some that had won state titles but none had the credentials of belonging to Antioch Baptist Church...

You never know man. We let Splendora back in the game. The kids need to play to their potential. That’s one of the factors that has hurt LCM.

We have a ton of injuries so stop talking bad about Lumberton. I haven’t seen the boys so pumped up during a game like I did last night. And honestly if Livingston would get their act together they could compete in the district. Most of their penalties in the 2nd half was late hits

Never said Mustangs were on top. It just seems that you have a woody for WO-S for some reason. If I followed Newton as you evidently say do, I'd focus on the Eagles success instead of sticking your nose several miles down Hwy 87. Most Eagle fans do that....or.....at least the rational ones do.

Same criticism every week. Not the entirety of the defense. Secondary improved in the 2 half. Lawrence and Buse had a killer game, linebackers played well. . If these kids get out there in the right formation are unbeatable. You’ll see.

I don't mind. My rents moved jobs a lot so I had 4 schools in 4 years lol. French, Silsbee, Newton, then ended in Kirbyville. I never was very good(lineman) but I played at every school...the first two at lower levels. But that was a long time ago...

About 4-5 years ago a poster that bleeds H-D red and Black was hyping that years team up. He mentioned the “four horseman” several times, stating they had 4 players that were going to wreak havoc on the opposition. That prophesy fell a little short that year and it has just stuck. I think there are posters for every team who are just a little overzealous on their predictions and actually cause people to root against their teams. Hell, maybe I’ve been guilty of it myself. At least that is my recollection of the running joke’s humble beginnings.

It's complex A Louis got his coaching career with Durley maybe kids can't relate to him ,my son went WB during most of Louis tenure there with stump kids really responded and respected him.

Reading the horror stories of being an opposing fan at yankee stadium and my mind is blown on how crappy of a fan base they have.

Nederland can score fast, Vidor plays very well coached hard nose football chews up yards and time, they seem to have a passing attack this year... The team that makes fewest mistakes will win this one. Weird saying this but Nederland has to match the physicality that Vidor has on the trenches. I’m a bulldog so I’m always going to root for my team. But if Nederland wants to make that next step forward we gotta handle business this week moving forward... should be a great game either way. Hopefully a injury free game for everyone!

They need to prepare for Livingston like they're playing WOS or Newton. Do that each week with every opponent. Never underestimate or take anyone lightly. LCM should win by at least 2 scores
