I hope Lumberton beating Kirbyville, Houston Furr and Evadale has them ready for Silsbee and district play.

I'm definitely not betting against them. I'm a big fan. If Newton wins this game, no ther 3A D2 team will even stay close.

Both teams turned it over 4 times. Both teams had players missing. Difference in this game was line play. Diboll was much better on the offensive and defensive lines. Still surprised at how small Jasper is on defense. A power run team with a big offensive line will give them fits. I came away impressed with Diboll. They will definitely move up some more in my rankings.

Oh, I knew that. I was just trying to find out what Mr. Physical Speed was trying to point out.

Don't take it so serious folks...this is just a couple programs who want to and are able to play. It doesn't matter...At least they are fortunate enough to have kids/parents/students who can make it to the game. Let them play. Some local areas are still underwater with players/coaches who've been flooded out, again.

They are evaluating the damages. Rumor is BU and Fehl-Price Elementary were the only 2 schools in Beaumont that took in water... based on what I know, they are trying to clean it up and make it ready as soon as possible. I think it'll be ready. Remember, during Harvey, Ozen took in water, and was ready to go shortly after. Worse case scenario... and this is me talking... there are options for using other buildings in the district temporarily. Just that you'd split the population of BU up. Hopefully, it doesn't get that bad...

Anybody want to bet against that this snooze fest between two “ranked” teams in the almighty SEC gets lower ratings than our game against Okie Lite tonight? To be fair about aggy leaving, they’ve been mediocre in both conferences at best. At least now, they can jock ride with impunity. Or at least they could until LSU called them out on it recently.

Gilmer is gonna come into this game breathin' 🔥. They have a loss from last year to avenge, and a win streak to shatter. That gives them all the motivation they need. I sure hope the Newton boys are ready for that.

I predicted that Newton wouldn’t survive this 3 game stretch undefeated. I stand by my prediction. I wouldn’t bet MY money on it, though.

Most gamblers don’t talk about their losses. Congrats. It’s like winning $500 on a scratch ticket. We don’t realize how much it cost us to get that $500. During my gambling addiction days, I seemed to do better with the college games.

As soon as I have more information, I’ll be sure and let you all know. Personally I hope back on the BU campus...

No team is running from competition. Or scared to play in the rain. It's not the field conditions that dictated the cancellation of the GAME. Destiny/fate was put into place way before this was ever a storm. After walking through flood waters tonight to rescue my 70+ year old parents. This all seems so irrelevant. Hug your children. Count your blessings. Enjoy the moments. Live on to fight another day. Tomorrow has to be a better day.
