  1. Sadly, a lot of school districts choose to let the pervert resign so they don't have to report it and take the time to go to court. If you remember several years ago a Memorial coach was jailed for this and when it came out that there were allegations at other schools, the girl sued those schools. I don't remember the outcome of the lawsuits. My favorite professor at Lamar, Coach John Payton, always told us to never be alone with any of your students. I have lived by his advice now for 33 years.

  5. Oh the outrage!!! Lower a flag? How about just standing up...which is what the entire dem side of congress couldn't do for a young black boy suffering from brain cancer (State of the Union)...or mothers of the women who were raped and murdered by illegals. You're talking about 1 man lowering a flag when your entire party can't even muster enough integrity to stand.. LOL at the selective outrage!

You remind me of one of those people who can't accept when they are wrong. They keep trying to prove their theory, and all it does is dig a deeper hole. Just stop because you know damn good and well that PNG's staff, Carthage's staff, is not rolling into Vidor and winning WITHOUT the help of Jimmy's and Joe's transferring in.

Not the players huh?!?! So, when Vidor was playing against players like James Brown, Leeland McElroy, Tiki Hardeman, Adam Dunn, Clint Stoerner and a ton of other players... Vidor had a chance if they had better coaching?!?! Or when Vidor's heaviest offensive lineman is 200lbs playing across from D-lineman that avg. 250... not the players, huh? Or when Vidor's fastest player runs a high 4.7 and their opponent has multiple players run 4.6 or better... not the player's, huh? Better coaching would have those players running faster and putting on more weight and would of had them competing against players who had great high school, college, and pro careers, huh?!?!

I believe both Vance and Trump have mentioned there are different groups that do not agree with the deal Trump is making with the current leadership. They have also mentioned that communication can take days because the gay leader does not want to give away his position. Taking that in to consideration along with the fact that none of the leadership is willing to go in public, there may be a leadership/communication problem..... So, to me that makes Slim's statement believable.

  18. The Supreme Court just granted certiorari or review to two cases for the next term. These cases deal with the ban on AR-15 and other “assault” rifles. The Supreme Court has finally decided to step in and rule whether a government can prohibit semi automatic rifles under the Second Amendment. By the time they schedule oral arguments to hear the cases and then write an opinion, it will probably be near the end of the term at about this time next year. So the can is no longer going to be kicked down the road. We are about to soon find out if about half a dozen states are violating the Constitution by prohibiting the possession of certain semi automatic weapons. Did I mention that I think this is huge?

  21. I'm sorry sir, you are incorrect on this one. I do this for a living. I'll keep the explanation as short as possible, but as long as your replies as the former employer are fact-based and not purposefully inflammatory, you can relay certain info about a previous employee to a prospective employer. Especially if the prospect in question has signed a release. Chapter 103 of the Texas Labor Code protects from defamation liability an employer who releases information about a current or former employee to a prospective new employer, unless "the information disclosed was known by that employer to be false at the time the disclosure was made or that the disclosure was made with malice or in reckless disregard for the truth or falsity of the information disclosed." Follow my guidelines, and it will serve you well: Release only factual information Supply Only What Is Requested Tell the Truth Avoid Inflammatory Terms Use a Written Release Form

  22. I understand the district‑talent argument, but let’s be real — lack of talent isn’t the other team’s fault. Every coach has to build around what they’ve got. Some schools have hoopers, some don’t. That’s the nature of high school sports. But that’s exactly why a shot clock doesn’t hurt the game. It doesn’t force anyone to play fast. It just forces everyone to play basketball. You can still run deliberate offense. You can still control tempo. You can still grind out possessions. A 35–40 second clock gives you more than enough time to run multiple actions. What it removes is the ability to stall for two minutes without any intent to score. That’s not “strategy.” That’s hiding behind the clock because you don’t have the talent to compete straight up. And diversity doesn’t disappear. College has a shot clock and you still see: • Princeton offenses • Ball‑screen heavy systems • Motion teams • Post‑dominant teams • Pack‑line defenses All completely different identities. The clock doesn’t erase style — it erases stalling. Most teams who want a shot clock already shoot within 45 seconds anyway. They’re not asking for help on offense. They’re asking for a rule that keeps the game competitive and keeps kids developing real basketball skills. High school players deserve: • More possessions • Real end‑of‑game situations • Preparation for the next level A shot clock doesn’t make everyone play the same. It just prevents one team from turning the game into a freeze‑tag contest because they don’t have the talent to compete possession‑to‑possession.

  23. For clarification: schools run a background check from the DPS database. If that comes back "clear", the school check references. Former employers are only technically allowed to provide 1. dates of employment 2. eligible for rehire yes/no 3. they may also provide safety info for DOT sensitive positions. Anything beyond the above listed information can expose the former employer to legal trouble. If they reveal unsubstantiated or unverified rumor type information that prevents a former employee from being hired, they can be subject to lawsuits.

  24. On Thursday the Supreme Court handed down a big decision in the case of Mullin v. Al Otro Lado. It deals with the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952 (INA) that allows people to seek asylum in the US. More specifically it deals with the definition of the word “in”. This kind of flashes back to the Bill Clinton deposition about Monica Lewinsky when he famously said when asked about sex with her, it depends on what the meaning of the word is, is. That’s right folks. We had a multi page Supreme Court decision on the definition of the word “IN”. Jumping ahead to give y’all time to think about it, it was a 6 to 3 vote on the definition of the word “in”. Guess which three did not agree with the definition? On with the show….. The INA said that a person may seek asylum when he “arrives in the United States”. That’s basically the case. Of course it goes on for pages to give other cases to explain the intent of the law, etc., however, the question is, can you apply for a political asylum in the United States when you were not the”in” United States? The answer was no, but here is the funny part. Justice Alito in authoring the decision to explain what being “in” the US actually means, wrote this: “The running back does not arrive in the end zone (and six points do not go up on the scoreboard) when he is tackled at the 1-yard line by the defense. The guest does not arrive in the house when the homeowner locks the door right before the guest tries to open it. The army does not arrive in the city when the city’s defenders repel the attack outside city limits. And the letter does not arrive in the mailbox when a dog assaults the carrier a step away from the mailbox. A person arrives in a destination only when he enters it, and that conclusion does not change because someone or something blocks entry. A person arrives in the United States, then, only when he enters it.” That’s about as simple and in plain English as you can get. Therr was no need for legalese to explain the situation. The dissent said that being outside of the US is the same as being in the US. 🤣🤣🤣 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 After the drum roll, the question that everyone has been wondering about…… which three justices did not agree that being in the United States meant being in the United States? Clue: One doesn’t know what a woman is.

  28. Except, that's a lie beyond belief. The entire Iran military is gone, with the exception of a few random drones they still have hidden and even those have all but disappeared. The entire Iran leadership is gone, except for one or two that has to stay in hiding and cant travel freely or even use a cell phone. The entire Iran nuke stockpile is essentially gone, reduced to dust by the bunker busters. The entire Iran nuke enrichment labs are gone, reduced to rubble. Iran's ability to control the straight is gone. Iran's ability to rebuild is gone. The potential for Iran to become a nuke power is completely gone. The world is in awe of the US military, and the world now knows the former US Muslim president and the US dementia president is gone.

That is easy to say, but I'm not sure more perception than reality. Trust me, my Dad built me a 65 Mustang from the ground up and gave to me for my 16th birthday in 1982, custom paint job and all.....so I know where you're going, but.... My work Truck is a 2011 Ford F150 Lariat 5.0 Coyote engine......When I parked her at work today, her milage was 309800. She has original engine and transmission. I don't recall 1960's or 1970's vehicles getting that kind of milage out of original engine. The only things that don't work are key fob....cause my ex-wife washed it...SMH - and the rearview camera (cause I don't wanna fix it) I don't drive her any further than I want to toe her home......but she makes he drive from Port Arthur to Vidor 5 days a week, plus around town on the weekends.

    Iran War Update

Lol, per Grok. Like I said we’re still being played. He’s not playing 9D chess like you think so. No, this is not true—it’s sensationalized hype, likely from a clickbait video or post. youtube.com The core claims (a “secret geopolitical chess move” by the US and Oman that stripped Iran of its Hormuz leverage, trapping them with a surrender-or-global-war ultimatum while the world was distracted by “ceasefire headlines”) do not match available reporting. Here’s the actual context as of mid-2026: Background on the Strait of Hormuz situation • The Strait of Hormuz is a critical chokepoint for global oil shipments. Iran has long claimed significant influence and has threatened or disrupted shipping during tensions. • There was a US-Iran war or major conflict phase earlier in 2026, followed by a fragile memorandum of understanding (MoU)/ceasefire framework in June that aimed to reopen the strait for normal (toll-free) commercial traffic. apnews.com • Tensions flared again recently: Iran (or elements acting in its name) attacked vessels in/near the strait, violating the understanding. The US responded with strikes on Iranian targets, declared the ceasefire “over” (while agreeing to continued talks at Iran’s request), and reinforced naval presence. foxnews.com Trump’s statements and US position Trump has repeatedly stated that the strait must remain open to everyone as international waters, with no single country controlling it. The US has positioned forces to “watch over” it, helped facilitate ship transits (including “Project Freedom” and reported secret operations moving oil), issued sanctions, and set deadlines/ultimatums for Iran to stop attacks on shipping. dw.com This is public rhetoric and policy, not a hidden revelation. Oman’s role Oman (a neutral mediator with ties to both sides) has hosted or facilitated talks. Iranian and Omani officials have discussed “safe passage” mechanisms, bilateral issues, and possible joint arrangements for the strait. There have been proposals involving fees/service charges (which the US opposes for an international waterway) and coordination along Omani routes. aljazeera.com This is diplomatic mediation and bilateral talks, not a secret US-Oman plot to “strip” Iran’s leverage. Shipping has continued with risks, US naval support, and alternative routing emphasis. aljazeera.com The “ultimatum” The US is demanding Iran publicly affirm the strait is open and stop shooting at ships as a condition for de-escalation. Talks continue in Oman. Iran has pushed back, cited errors or factions, and insists on its rights/sovereignty. No credible reports describe Iran as “trapped with nowhere to turn” or facing an all-or-nothing choice that inevitably triggers “devastating all-out global war.” bbc.com Why the claim is misleading • Exaggerated drama: Ceasefire violations, strikes, and talks are ongoing and reported—not a “hidden maneuver” while the world was distracted. • No evidence of a game-changing secret deal: US-Oman coordination exists in the context of mediation and freedom-of-navigation operations. Iran’s leverage is reduced by military pressure and parallel routing, but it retains territorial waters, rhetoric, and some disruption capability. aljazeera.com • Typical clickbait framing: These posts often mix real tensions (Hormuz incidents, Trump statements, Oman talks) with conspiracy-style hype to imply imminent catastrophe or genius 4D chess. Real risks exist—disruptions to energy markets, escalation potential, and fragile diplomacy—but the situation is fluid negotiations backed by military posturing, not a cornered Iran on the brink of world war. Mainstream coverage (from multiple outlets) reflects this without the apocalyptic spin.
