My frustration is not with Trump's accomplishments... It's based on the fact that he let his behavior overshadow his accomplishments with the masses.

When somebody as conservative as myself has to grit their teeth while voting for the Republican nominee, you know that the candidate is flawed.

A candidate has two jobs.... make it hard to vote for the other guy, and easy to vote for you. Trump did "ok" in the first part, but was a miserable failure in the second.  Do you think anybody who voted against Trump has second-guessed their vote since election day?  Nope.  Do you think anybody who voted FOR Trump has second-guessed their vote since election day?  You'd better believe it.

And it's just typical of the way things went for him since day one.  He would do crappy things and his adoring fans would just lap it up... while anybody NOT enamored by the reality tv star just plotted an waited for November of 2020.  And now here we are.

Trump has his faults, but media has...........well been the media.....

I don't have a problem with calling each other names.

I do. What possible good outcome can be arrived at either side with the vicious name calling. Poking fun here and there is one thing, but the meanness should stop.

BUT, when Trump called pure white Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas” because of her claims of Indian heritage, I was so envious that I hadn’t said it first. It makes me laugh to this day. Pocahontas... 🤣

Trump was like that kid you went to school with... kind of a class clown. You kinda wanted to be around him, but you didn’t want him to single you out because he’d probably tag you with a nickname you couldn’t get rid of. But he was also the guy that eventually got EVERYBODY extra homework because his BS just got old. You know the guy.

Now he’s the guy you’re jealous of because he’s filthy rich...and you’re not.

Trump wasn't a problem until he decided to get involved and tried to drain the swamp.  Remember -- they were planning his removal before he was inaugurated.  You know, the insurance policy and all.

I don't have a problem with calling each other names.  But we should direct our insults at one another.  It's just not right to call out an entire group of people Dims, Libtards, Trumpkins, or whatever, just because they vote or believe differently isn't right.  But by all means... fire away.   I've got thick skin.

Great!  Well, I may get banned, but here goes - You Liberal!

He’s going to lose everything. His businesses will be cut off at the knees by creditors and at the rate he’s going the state of New York will have him in prison.

i do not envy him.

Wow, sounds the right folks are in charge, huh?

Sadly, lots of folks in this country would love for that to happen to him.

I saw today where two of the banks he does business with say that they’re cutting ties. All it would take is a credit card company or two to cut him off and he’s toast. I can’t imagine most major corps using his hotels for anything anymore. The pga pulled a tournament from one of his clubs next year, too.

He really boofed himself in the last couple of weeks.

We’ll see, there are 70 million folks that will speak with their money.  Fox is learning that lesson as we speak.

So let me get this straight. If you are conservative, then left is out to get you, and if you don’t support the rantings of a lunatic, his supporters will boycott you, too.... talk about a rock and hard place, huh?

That sums up the reason that Trump was ineffective and eventually lost. The Dems don’t turn on each other, the republicans do. Whether it’s Rand Paul and his buddies deep-sixing the repeal of Obamacare or Trump and his followers savaging everyone who wouldn’t annoint Trump as president in spite of the vote tallies.

I’ll bet that I’m more conservative than most of you, but I’m labeled all kinds of inaccurate things because I won’t pretend that Trump got screwed like the rest of you like to do.

I’ll guarantee that a lot of Trumps “70 million voters” are just like me... not too sad to see him gone. That’s why the poll I posted earlier had him at 33% approval and 60% disapproval. People are just tired of his mess.

The Republicans turn on each other....really?  Glad to see you finally figured that out.  I’ve known that for 20 years.  As far as you being conservative, sorry.  By your own admission Bill Clinton would be your ideal President ( maybe just a tad right, lol) and you’re good with abortion because Roe v Wade is past history.  As far as Trump being ineffective, you must be drawing a gov check to say that, it is simply a lie.  I won’t waste my time listing accomplishments that have already been posted.

More conservative...lol.

I once thought you were fairly intelligent. I can admit when I make a mistake.

Just think, the buffoon EnlightenedOne/MagaWeTrust/WhateverHeCallsHimselfNow and Big Girl are both compadres of you, applauding your rants. That should be an eye opener if ever there was one. You should really stay off of the Trump topics. Just stick to other topics where you can make intelligent posts that are not influenced or overwhelmingly consumed by Trump hatred (TDS).

But if you insist on embarrassing yourself, please explain how any person on the face of the Earth could endure four+ years of constant negative attacks by 99% of the media/Hollywood/Congress/etc., but still get as high as a 30-40 percent approval rating. If these entities would have attacked Obama in the same manner, what do you think his approval would have been? You are so focused on your hatred for Trump, you must justify that unjust analysis by blaming him, instead of blaming yourself for being so easily manipulated. A self-defense mechanism if ever there was one.

Is Hillary still up by double digits in your poll you cited? How many different reasons are you going to offer as the definitive one as to why Trump lost? "Rantings of a lunatic"?

For the same reason that a democratic socialist like Bernie Sanders can still pull down the same poll numbers... some people have extreme views. There’s no difference between a Bernie Bro and a Trump supporter. They both live in an imaginary world where reality is altered.
Bernie’s guys think that you can seize 100% of profits from corporations and seize the wealth anybody who has more than the least of us and it’ll all work out peachy. Trumps loyalists believe he can poop all over people and still win every election bigly. You know... just because he’s rude and crude just means that you are a snowflake if you don’t vote for him. Logic like that. Both are delusional.

I forgot my favorite Trumper claim!!! Just look at Joe Biden! He’s senile! The fact that he won is proof that there was cheating!!!!l”

I’ve read that one over and over here.

It’s funny because I will call you a low informed voter 😂

I vote based on policy.  I do not vote one way because my grandparents always voted a certain way.  I do not vote a certain way because of skin color.  I do not vote a certain way due to hate.  I vote on who will put America and its people first.  If that is your definition of a low info voter, so be it.

    • Here is the facebook post for y'all   I’m not going to put names or schools on this, but feel free to screen shot it to whoever you like. Yes yes, I’m a baseball guy. But I love football more than baseball. My son played all three sports in high school. So I’m not a baseball only guy. But if your high school football coach has your Varsity baseball son doing football drills in pads right now, that is wrong. At one certain school, the baseball team lost their starting third baseman (Gladiator kid) because he dislocated his elbow in a football drill. Two weeks before high school baseball playoffs, and now his season is done. Basically this coaches decision to make Varsity baseball players do football workouts on April 22nd, 5 months before Friday night lights, just sabotaged this kids season, and the teams season. And once again, I’m a huge football supporter, but this is wrong!! This is why kids stop playing football. Coaches preach they want kids playing all the sports, well how about respect baseball season, from Feb to May !  If the shoe was on the other foot, and a kid got injured playing baseball in October and he was a varsity football starter, what would that coach do? Be pissed off! And I would 100% agree with him! There is a reason I don’t have a fall baseball program with football guys. Because I respect football season. All I’m asking is football coaches to respect baseball season. Respect the High School baseball coaches that have worked their ass off to try to get their team in a playoff situation. Support them, don’t Sabotage them by taking their players out because of a “all important April 22nd” football workout. And I don’t want to hear this was bad luck, or any crap like that!!!A lot of these kids are Division One Baseball players, and just good high school football players. If you want to continue to have these kids play football, start doing the right thing. If not, I’m going to try to get those kids quit football and just focus on baseball. And let me say it again, I want all my Gladiator kids playing football!! I go support them watching their football games, and I love it!! But not at the cost of an injury in April playing football, not baseball . Bad miss……Do a better job! Be a better football coach, and remember, it’s not about you, but it’s about the kids who respect you and will do anything you ask them to do. Don’t punish them for being a good baseball or basketball player!!
    • Only if you ignore the Constitution. I get the sentiment but I sometimes ponder when others may say, “We always support the Constitution”, “The Constitution has to be followed as the law of the land”, etc.  When in reality they mean, “I LOVE THE CONSTITUTION……. except the parts I don’t like”. There are certainly parts of the Constitution that I would change if I had the option.
