The median of the 5 days would be the most accurate predictor. They should have to count each day and take the median. Otherwise the process simply promotes falsehoods with the count. TrojanWarrior08 Posted Thursday at 11:50 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:50 PM A lot of people are specluating that the numbers will drop down. If true then we're currently in trouble that would almost for certain put us back to 4A-D2 as both Coldspring and Shepherd (especially Shepherd) is seeing some growth with 506 and 628 respectfully. I doubt they would drop 4AD2 enough to impact CS. CS has maintained the same enrollment +- 5students for 3 consecutive enrollments. Very little growth. Quote

At this point they need to hope that they dont although they shouldnt but "if they did" that district will be brutal for them. Quote
WOSdrummer99 Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago How would a school cheat if nobody knows the numbers of the next alignment? My argument has always been they need to even up the divisions. Statistically it's much easier to make playoffs in 4Ad2 than 5Ad1. Idk if #s are current 249 6A (÷2=124.5) 129 5Ad1 118 5Ad2 107 4Ad1 93 4Ad2 100 3Ad1 99 3Ad2 103 2Ad1 101 2Ad2 Quote

Some considerations: Geographic location has to be taken into account in some circumstances. It wouldn't make much sense to "Go ahead and pull up the numbers to include schools A and B so that we have X number of schools in this division or that many few in another".. especially if there would literally be no schools geographically close to this hypothetical School A or School B. Also.. there are schools that choose to play up a division every alignment. If you really want a set number or max number of schools per division, then don't allow schools to play up. Make them play where they are. Quote
