From what I heard today, List has been narrowed down to 8 applicants. 4 interviewed today and 4 will be interviewed tomorrow. List will then be narrowed down to 4. These final 4 will then have one on one interviews with the sup & principal.

I don't know why people are so economically illiterate. Most are absolutely unaware how economic cycles work. For an illustration, lets say the USA elects a very pro buisness President that wants prosperity for the nation. He fast track approves drilling, pipelines, and export terminals. So when does it positivly affect the economy? Years later! Permitting takes time, as does engineering, land acquisition, and construction. The payoff only comes 5+ years later when the oil actually flows and goes to market. So lets say in year 4 of those 5 years, another President is "elected" that hates the American industry and wants to kill it off. He does everything he can to restrict and outlaw the industry. However, the product is already flowing and profits are now rolling in. Who gets credit? The Pro buisness Prez that supported it, or the one who hates it and wants to kill it but happens to be in office when the profits come in? Economic cycles and effects are by nature delayed. If you want to see how well an adminstration does, look at the economy 5 years later. Thank you Trump for the stock market today.

Actually, what he said is that 70% of Haley's voters weren't registered as Republicans. How many were democrats wanting(?) Haley to get nominated? I dunno. How many were Republican leaning moderates who don't feel strongly enough to commit solely to republicanism? Probably most. That's the point that no one wants to understand... Trump can't win with MAGA voters or registered republicans alone. He NEEDS those moderates and even some crossover libs/dems to win.... and he spurns them. In Texas, you can vote in any primary you wish... you just can't vote in both. Why should anybody be excluded from voting in the primary of their choosing? Oh, wait... I forgot that y'all are all from the camp that doesn't believe everybody should be allowed to vote. As a fair-minded conservative by nature, this was one of the hardest facts to deal with. A large part of the Republican base does, in fact, believe that some people shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Attended the Silsbee game there and it's very nice. Great venue. Don't know the capacity but it's about 40 million times better than that ridiculous Bryan gym where the region tourney was last year. I assume the tourney is there again this year because the girls' was. The WOS Event Center is out at the edge of the galaxy limiting it's appeal.
