  1. That seems to be the go to saying in PNG.. over the last 10 years “ohh these 8th graders coming up are full of studs” the “freshman group was never scored on” and etc. Is that saying giving to parents in the mail from the athletic dept?

I know first hand it's the only job that he would leave shoemaker for. Otherwise he is happy where he is. He has a gud relationship with everyone that is involved there.and u couldn't tell that his team was 0-10. But the next couple years they will get a couple wins up under his belt.the funny part is even with a 0-10 team.he still got kids scholarships.

More than what he was making here. He told me Shoemaker is a military school and because kids parents get moved to different stations of assignment, you may have a kid one year and the next year he is gone...

  5. He won 2 district games last yr, finished 2-8. He should have them a lil better this yr, but not playoff better.

It is fine like it is. It is an opinion poll used for conversation.

The thing that is/was missing is that there are not any American flags any where! I shouldn't be surprised though!

  10. Very true, but this team of Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors will be exciting to watch. Been waiting a long time to watch this group play together.

  11. The talent is spread out in Killeen, all 4 schools have their share of good athletes, the thing is look at what district they're in for football, I doubt any team out of Killeen makes the playoffs this yr, just like last yr.

  12. Make no mistake, there are athletes in Killeen that could rival those in Beaumont, it's just those athletes usually dont enroll at Shoemaker... and I think that Foreman did have something that Coach T dismt have. Youth. Youth can can relate better to the young talent. I'm just talking about thia before the fact. Obviously, coach T proved everyone wrong with these state titles and state championship runs...

They won't be the cellar dweller this year. Matter of fact, they make the playoffs this year.

They stormed the field because it was an historic win for the program. It was the program's 500 win which elevated them to being the winningest football program in the state of Texas for winning percentage, all classification.

  15. Dogs will be solid this year but have some big holes to fill on the OL...may struggle early until these guys figure out the blocking schemes and protections but the talent is there...skill position guys will be very good...Scott and Maczyk will be one of the best 1-2 punches in the backfield around...don't sleep on the Fuselier kid either...he is a talent and Nederland will find a way to get him the ball, whether as a receiver (think he will primarily play the slot) or running the ball some; think of how Nederland used Yoder, Butler, and Shaw back in the days, just finding ways to get the ball in his hands and let Fuselier go to work; he can scoot! Look for Nederland to move him around the formations quite a bit and just get the ball in his hands

  16. Young man suffered some injuries that ended his playing career. Also made the decision for him to not pursue a college football career. He has a great job here locally and is doing well. How about we move on? Subject is kind of irrelevant these days. Except for ones who want to poke fun at his expense.

  17. I find this to be about what I thought. The top three athletes in my opinion are Childress, Harris and Sanders. The latter two are juniors. Harris could really turn out to be something special. He already has offers from some big FBS schools. He has added about 25 pounds to his frame since last year. All three are excellent kids on and off the field. I think the skill positions will be fine. I am anxious to see how both lines do.

Okay, guys. I think we are getting a bit far afield in discussing what is, as of now, a hypothetical post WO-C ISD Greater Orange area. An appropriate topic, just not for this forum.
