    TODAY'S THE DAY

Last night was a reminder that political power is borrowed from voters, not owned by politicians.

And anyone who distanced themselves from Trump was criticized and not nominated. Leading to awful candidates running in races and a lot of them are going to lose seats the right should’ve easily been able to hold.

Trump and the GOP own the results tonight. They had 2 years to show how awesome they were and they failed miserably! Affordability and Accountability is all the people that voted for Trump wanted and he failed miserably. I have zero sympathy for him and his cohorts.

    TODAY'S THE DAY

As concerning as I find it that Texas has a democrat for a governor, I'm behind just about everything she's pushing when it comes to public schools. If she can accomplish what she's trying to in that regard then some good will come out of all of this. Ending STAAR Firing Morath Auditing no-bid vendor contracts Ending the voucher program Pausing the accountability rating system 4/5 I'm 100% behind, and as for the accountability system, it needs a major overhaul if we're going to keep using it.

  8. probably will be, anyway. Republicans better hope the dems aren't able to quiet the small minority of quacks that have been elected. If the democrats figure it out and move back close to central it'll be a long time before the country is red again. That said, I don't think they're smart enough to figure that out. They're gonna take the blue tsunami as a sign that the country wants open borders and government overreach, higher taxes and socialist policies. If they do that the right will be back in a few years.

More than anything I think this vote was a referendum against school vouchers, with a healthy dose of Trump fatigue thrown in.

  18. Paredes has been one of the bright spots in the Astros organization for the last couple of years. The only scenario I see is put him at second base, Peña at short, Correa at third, Walker at first, put the big guy in left field and Altuve has to be DH. Sub in at second base when needed.

This is all on Trump and the GOP but mostly Trump. He has failed miserably. Your genius thought maga alone would bring the wins but independents stayed home. And yes the fuel pump and groceries won hypothetically speaking.

We took a butt kicking.....are you happy about it? Maga Cult members is really pushing it and sounding like a Democrat Good think is hopefully Senate will be 54-46 - and needing 13 Republican to Impeach Trump. Hopefully that should discourage the Democrats for the next 2 years impeaching Trump.

  28. Yes they do. I have a kid on the freshmen team and I have watched both of those kids live this year. The United kid might have a little bit more juice but both are really impressive. PAM has something cooking with that 8th grade QB James Jr. Really talented kid too.

  29. No ligament or structure damage from what I've been told, bone bruise. Still not sure he is going to play tomorrow. If he plays, BU wins by at least 2 scores. If he doesn't play and they have to go with the backup QB, which is the best WR on the team or the JV QB, it could be the end of what looked like a promising season.

  31. I would like a combo as well. 6A/5A at one site, 4A/3A at one site, 2A/1A at one site. Or 6A/4A, 5A/3A, 2A/1A to help with the larger crowds of 6A and 5A. 8 games per site. Play two days. I say make those sites as centrally located as possible. Of course that would depend on facilities.

I admit that I am not happy about our state turning blue but I always thought it needed some purple shade. I believe as far as the state of Texas goes, the Democrats didn't win this election. The Republicans lost it. Republicans turned the ball over too many times, both inside the opponent 10 and near their own goal line. Costly TO's that lost them the game. One of those cases of the "better team lost".

I never saw Abbott losing, and he lost big. A lot of talk, focus and hundreds of millions spent on the senate race. Texas has become one of, if not the top state for industry in the nation. Companies can’t move here fast enough. This may be the beginning of a slow nose dive. It makes me sad for the great state of Texas.

Yep… Tonight’s outcome isn’t about placing faith in Democrats or socialist principles; it’s about holding Republicans accountable for betraying their promises. All Republicans had to do was: 1. put Americans First 2. not start another war 3. prosecute sex traffickers - Thomas Massie

  38. PN-G is doing exactly what I thought. Getting better each game and executing the game plan that is presented to them. Lots of room for better techniques, angles and tackling on defense. Overall, a quality team that knows how to win and has proven it. Coach Joseph does such a good job of getting a lot of players into the game for development. And they are contributing and learning the game. That keeps the players coming up interested and challenged. The starters are getting some rest but getting their reps in. The depth at several positions is a strength of this team. The Indians just have too much firepower to not win this game, and win big.

  46. They won’t answer you, the replies and comments are all about hurt feelings and not getting what they wanted. Has nothing to do with winning, discipline, etc… an 80 game winning streak would somehow be made into a failure, 16 shutouts in a row, nothing would be enough. But the person they want can have an overall losing record, never have won a single playoff game , a district championship, or anything resembling success, but they’d still be “ A Great Coach”
