Rivalry games are the hardest games to predict. And knowing the history of the rivalry the game could and probably go in a different direction than anyone thinks it.

Sitting back thinking about it, it's really amazing we're 6-0 at this point with replacing so many studs from last season. I didn't think we'd be undefeated at this point of the season in February.

PAM's Special Teams provided that win almost as much as the D IMHO. They constantly gave PAM great field position, and made BWB work the field. Those hidden yards added up. Bruins had issues on special teams. A definite difference.

They’re going to make a lot of schools drop their contracts & start streaming via school YouTube accounts. Personally, I prefer that anyway. Bias and all. Makes it fun. Plus, the commentators actually know the teams and individual players better.

If he is talking about Lufkin, that is in error, although you always hope to have a better year than the last.. We all knew the youth and inexperience coming on board this year, at least I did. There are always those out of the loop Lufkin fans who thinks a new coach should win immediately, they do not understand a program rebuild. Abseck is doing that. It doesn't show on the varsity with all the sophs and fresh up there getting their feet wet, but it is happening at the Freshmen level where the Lufkin kids have smoked all of their district opponents. through 4 games. Lufkin has a large number of kids in the freshman program. It's more plausible to expect next season to have the expectations.

Don't blame him. Lumberton is pretty good at it too. Probably even closer than OF

#8, #4 definitely needs to get a few drives per half just to mix things up and keep other teams off balance.

Not to mention a lot of these guys are now going both ways due to injury. I feel simplifying things by running the ball and leaning on your D is their bread and butter. #8 needs more touches and I don't care how you get him the ball just make it happen.

I absolutely hate the new format. This morning I emailed DCTX and told them to cancel my subscription and auto renew. As a long time subscriber, it's been fun but I'm done.

And 2 whole hours of actual highlights from around the state. And a replay on Saturday morning for all of us driving home Friday night. All in the name of progress/profits.

Special Teams played another great game have got to work on the center snapping the ball...I think Dayton is a little down this year and we should have no problem with Santa Fe or Galena Park the rest of the games are toss ups

I didn’t even debate firing DCTX up. Just went straight to PAM/BWB. Was able to catch the coach’s show and all. Good program. Wish they had the clock like last week is all. Not that big a deal though. They’re calling the game time out pretty frequently.

W.o by a couple of scores.HF hasn't seen a CB like #18.one of the best in the state.even Carthage coach was surprised that w.o didn't play man to man.if they play man HF will have trouble but if they go back to all this zone.HF will give them problems.and I said a couple of scores bcz, if OC 3steps and let dugas throw it HF will have trouble slowing them down.

Gonna be a heavyweight bout for sure. Gimme da longhorns 31-28. Gonna be HFs biggest test and WoS can go speed for speed with HF. Deciding factor here is gonna be the stang d line vs HF o line. If WoS cant get pressure on Broussard without blitzing it will be a long night. If WoS dline can create havoc it can go either way (hence my 3 point prediction, but wouldnt be surprised if it went the way of the stangs either)

EC chewed the clock the entire second half with no intent to score. They pulled starters in skill postions earlier in the 3rd and the whole defense with 8 left in the forth when Buna drove down and scored with 22 seconds left on the clock. If EC wanted to beat them by at least 60 they could've easily.
