Most complete game I've seen from the Cats all season and all 3 phases showed up and made a statement. Coaches absolutely put it away in the first Q with some impressive play calls so props to the guys wearing the headsets. Clearly had the guys focused coming off the bye week and kept the foot on the gas most of the game. I really like the incorporation of #4 to come in as a wildcat QB, but he also got some snaps in the running back position and performed well. Defense pursued well and set the edge most of the night and made it tough for AP to get anything going. Good win for the Bobcats! -

That was very clear last night. He has some wheels and I think running a heavier set with the RPO fits this team. -

Not to mention a lot of these guys are now going both ways due to injury. I feel simplifying things by running the ball and leaning on your D is their bread and butter. #8 needs more touches and I don't care how you get him the ball just make it happen. -

Cats have little to no identity on offense. They run the ball well and the zone read even better, but they go away from it too early in drives. Playcalling looks more like what the coaches want to do and what they want to see rather than what they CAN do. QB is inaccurate, throwing hospital balls and receivers are getting little separation but let's throw it anyways. I understand he's a 4yr starter and playing his heart out that's clear. They have a solid RB room between 10 and 21. QB runs the ball well with physicality and they have good athletic skill guys as well as QB2 who can fly on the option. I'd like to see some simplified creativity with jet sweeps, more motions, and just simply run the damn ball. The defense is really good as well as their kicking game in all phases (Kickoff, punt, field goal). It seems simple to rely on your run game with multiple guys that can produce, play physical bend but don't break defense, and a solid special teams' unit. -

In 2011 BC lost in the Bi-District round to Coldspring 7-0. Coldspring would go on to lose in the semi finals by 7 to the eventual state champ. That 2011 roster was very talented on both sides of the ball. -

I don’t see anyone saying HJ and Liberty are running from competition? I guess it’s only a talking point about the Cards because they’re winning the district. Nobody complaining about getting easy district wins from HJ and Lib. are they? G.B.R. -

This is exactly how I felt and the impression I got. Basically they couldn't overturn the call on the field and it was upheld rather than confirmed.
-
Silsbee and WOS have dominated most SETX schools over the last two decades regardless of classification. BC is 11-5 over HF in the last 20 years.
-
Possibly so but from a fan perspective it’s nice to see local teams playing. These kids know each other and their parents work together which make the stakes higher. There was a major competition gap 10 years ago when BC was 3A. WOS and Silsbee battled it out while BC settled for 3rd and drew Coldspring in their prime 3yrs straight lol.
-
You’re grasping at straws chief… By “running from competition” are you referring to WOS and Silsbee and are you also implying the current district BC plays in isn’t of high quality?

If the roles were reversed there would be no difference and you know that. The hit dog barks the loudest or shall I say the hit bear. LCM won in fraudulent fashion does that make you feel better?

The ignorance from this ordeal is laughable. It's a lot of LCM support or justification of obvious cheating. Did it completely dictate the result of the game? No. Did it play a role in the result of the game? Yes. Understanding tendencies or deciphering hand signals is gamesmanship, but having your hands on electronics your opponent uses to relay plays is full blown cheating. Both of these teams are good and based off the second half score it's a one possession game that could have gone either way. Player discovers opponents wrist band and then brings it to his coach. Coach gives the wrist band to the ref and it is returned to the team it belongs to and you play ball. It's that simple of a scenario that could have happened but when nobody was looking the wrong decision was made to gain a competitive advantage.
