After a discussion with the owner of this site (Jordan Wilson) we have made a decision that we hope will help clean some things up in this forum. Starting today, Sept. 18, no member is allowed to post any memes or X posts in the political forum. Too many times these posts have violated the sites rules and policies and for the most part, it's flooded the forum and drives personal attacks. Any meme or X post will get deleted. Any member who continues to post memes and X posts will be subject to consequences up to a permanent ban. You are allowed to post links to articles or videos but not the videos themselves. We are taking these extreme measures in order to clean things up in this forum. This forum is not how the owner wanted the political forum to be when the forum was created. This is how it will be for the foreseeable future. The prohibit of memes and X posts is only for the political forum. They will be allowed in other forums.

It was long overdue. I've been here a minute or two, and I remember this page being about debate and discussion and @tvc184 being a huge part of the discussion. As I typing this, I recalled the youth forum when I joined in 2008 and how bad it would get......this has almost become that, Good Move, maybe we will get back to discussion.

I absolutely believe they will compete with WO-S. It will be a very good game. Just don't think they will beat the Mustangs. That game with HF was kind of misleading as far as the score. Yes, 25-0 on the surface looks bad but being on the sidelines for that one I saw a different perspective. LC-M moved the ball quite well against HF. Their only issue was getting the ball in the end zone. I believe LC-M got into the redzone 3 times in that game and came away with no points. Redzone efficiency was just very poor. Defensively, LC-M's flaw in that game was not being able to tackle the two HF receivers. Three of those TD's were one yard passes to the flat and the receiver alluding or shedding LC-M defenders and making what should have been no more than 6-8 yard gains into 65-70 yard TD's. HF never could run the ball effectively against LC-M outside of a couple of QB scrambles. I just think the game was closer than the score indicated. I think HF is a very good team but no buzz saw. Just my opinion.

Well, I’d call that preaching to the choir. We’ve all had to make sacrifices for our families, they come first. I wondered sometime if we’d make it, but you keep plugging and you will. Told my loan officer I wasn’t sure if I could make my truck note when I got demoted one time. He let me pay just the interest and moved my payments to the end, lengthening my payments. Funny what can happen if you simply talk to people. I put my 401k in high risk and it paid off. The only reason I’d go back to work is boredom, and I ain’t that bored. lol

My grandfather lived about 25 miles from a gas station out in the country, and he had a gravity fed big tank he would buy gas in bulk. I'm not sure how many gallons, but large enough a gas truck would come out and fill it.

I understand the difficulty in posting just the links to videos. Most times the site automatically posts the video. I would say just make sure no prohibited language is involved and if so, please post a warning with it. Not all videos are allowed but some are that fall within our guidelines. The point being, lots of these posts are driving the attacks and violate policy so we are taking these measures to curb the nonsense.

I agree it needs to be cleaned up but I don’t agree that eliminating memes and x post is the solution. In fact, we have a political meme thread that I suppose should be locked or deleted now. I feel the personal attacks and disrespect will continue. JMO. However, I support whatever y’all think you need to do. I have some appropriate memes that address this situation but I’ll reframe from posting them.🙂

As log as you have computers you will have hacking. What surprises me is there is not a master cut off so you can control the ship manually. I don't understand why you couldn't flick a switch to cut power to wi-fi, internet and computers and old school drive the thing.

On the last play (4th and goal from 10) EC defensive back West made an open field tackle at the 2 yard line as time ran out to end the game. West also had the 47 yard TD reception in 2nd half that put EC in front. 3 times EC defense stopped Hardin inside the 10.

From my calculations for time of possession: Hardin 44 minutes (5 total possessions) EC 4 minutes (4 total possessions) Hardin ran 69 plays (38 in 1st half) EC ran 16 plays (3 in 1st half) One of the most fascinating games I have ever attended.

Give me HF 35-24. I think Stafford is good, and they're fast, but they also could easily be 1-2 and are getting some credit beating a couple of schools who aren't quite up to their usual standards. HF beat them 31-14 last year, and while Stafford may be better this year, so is HF.
