The “death row” moniker had absolutely nothing to do with what happened here. This was dumb kids being irresponsible with guns, and certainly in the orbit of even dumber and more irresponsible adults. What the defense calls itself is irrelevant to this tragedy.

Personally I think it's quite obvious what it was meant for. It was meant for the freed slaves to be able to become citizens of the US. Now, I don't think it's a coincidence that the 13the Amendment freed the slaves. Then the 14th makes sure they get citizenship. But the telling part is: "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof"! If a tourist comes and gives birth, that person is not "subject to our jurisdiction." I really don't think our founding fathers had this is mind. But why has it been perverted over the years. Could just be ignorance. Could be fraud involved. Who knows? But I think the Supreme Court will right this wrong!

Read on another site... shooting a video with obvious loaded gun (stupid and immature to say the least) gun went off, shot through a wall and hit young man in the neck. No slap on the wrist should be given, some of these comments thinking it was intentional or "death row" played a factor are ignorant as can be!! I know you aren't a praying man. These are kids we are talking about. I could not agree with you more. Whether we like what SOC does is irrelevant when it comes to kids safety. Why?, How? Negligence, doesn't matter. The kids being ok does. The rest will be figured out. Praying for this injured young man and the shooters family. Praying some good can somehow come from this tragedy.

Is there any kind of go fund me for this kid? This is an opportunity to reach across the football aisle and give SOC some support from SETX.

You have no idea if the “Death Row moniker” had anything to do with it. One thing for certain, it is a settled and indisputable fact that the kids were doing and portraying the absolute exact same thing that were done by Death Row artists in their videos. Still quite a bit of information to be found out on the incident.

Death Row is just a nickname for the defense like the Chain Gang was for WOS, etc.....they've been using that for years but no one noticed it until they started winning state.. This is a simple case of adults making a poor choice to rent an Air BNB for a bunch of HS kids...the kids decide to shoot a rap video and play with guns that were loaded.....its kids being dumb....leaving HS boys unsupervised in a house is a receipe for bad behavior and they are lucky someone wasn't killed....
