I think I'm a conservative independent. Sick of both parties. I'm all in favor of reducing spending and that includes trimming social programs. However, I'm not in favor of an ax wielding approach with no real plan or consideration to cause and effect. Cutting billions here, then turning around and giving billions there (other countries) accomplishes nothing financially. Anyone that wants to brag on our economy has their head in the sand. TDS is a real thing, and it is running rampant on both sides of the isle.

I agree that the Lufkin press box has been inadequate a long time and very NON ADA compliant. We finally have some leadership that realizes that and are about to have a vote in May, 2026 to solve that problem. I have had seats right there at the top close to one of the press box doors for the past 32 years, have probably watched AggiesWeAre lug that equipment up those steps. Have assisted many to get into or get out of the press box who were unable access on their own. It's not a safe entry, I've said for two decades it's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Just totally changed out the HVAC due to age of the old unit (still worked) and leaks in the duct work. Average electric bill is $250-$300 per month from Entergy. Maybe electrical bills are geographical like gas prices. When Trump left office his first term, gas prices were $1.85 for regular. I know all the lefties will make every excuse in the world for Biden, but he pulled the plug on the Keystone X pipeline and he shut down the oil leases on federal land. We haven’t recovered as of yet, but they are coming down. Having faith in someone doesn’t require lockstep, it’s what they voted for…..huge difference

DCTF/Pigskin Prep computer pick has P A Memorial a +17 point favorite over Lufkin. DCTF Matt Stepp has P A Memorial a +7 point favorite at Lufkin. Massy Ratings has PAM a +18 point favorite vs Lufkin. You can trash the -5 for PAM, I think that was some pre season pick DCTF does. All of these different spreads are so confusing, just have to play the game.

I would swap Baytown Sterling for west Brook. Westbrook has the more favorable schedule and they beat sterling already. Sterling lost 2 and haven’t played PAM yet

Tell me about it. I have made that climb many times with broadcast equipment in tow. Each time I told anybody and everybody in the box that it was criminal and inhumane to not have an elevator to this press box. But nobody listens to me. lol
