Very young team that had a tough pre-district schedule. EC speed will present a tough match up, but the Cougars have some big young bucks and will play power football. We will have to play mistake free offensive football and keep the ball out of EC's hands. Future is bright, not quite there yet but getting better.

Not a fan of it, but it has its place. Example, 2A D2 school suits up 15-18 kids and is down 40+ at half with 2 players injured. Playing a "full" 2nd half benefits nobody and could end a season for some kids just enjoying being part of a team. Heck, they could be getting demolished by the #1 team in the state and still have a legitimate playoff opportunity and could possibly win a 1st round game. Maybe a mercy rule for 2A could exist like it does for 6man. Who knows? My mostly useless opinion since the question was posed.

Gun control is certainly a hot topic. Are the people in favor of more or even extreme gun control tipping their hand by going after laws that would have little if any impact in firearms safety or homicide rates? Is it rationally based measures or simply a way of using emotions to eventually completely ban private ownership while (falsely) claiming to respect the Second Amendment? If a person is against all private ownership, that’s okay. A person is entitled to his opinion. Why not come out and call for all firearms to be confiscated instead of using “sensible” gun laws? The answer likely lies in the fact that to let the cat out of the bag would make it difficult to achieve their goals. So the agenda is hidden.
