We’ll be there and we’ll be loud. Hell my brother from Kansas City is flying in to attend the game. He’s never been to a PNG game, just watched on NDN press so it’ll be a huge shock for him.

Indian Nation needs to mobilize. The YouTube broadcast is great, but if you can be there, be there. Give someone a ride. Get a ride. You can’t be loud from your living room. I understand health issues and work/family obligations, but to the extent you aren’t kept from traveling by something like that, we need the 12th Man to show up. Ask Texas High about how loud we can be. This isn’t a “I’ll watch from my recliner” week. This isn’t a “it looks like rain, maybe I won’t go” week. This is an old-fashioned, bring-your-umbrella-and-tough-it-out-with-your-team week. Wet butts dry; championships are forever. We wanted to play them outside of Dallas. Here they are. Let’s get loud.

You weren’t wrong. Other than the first drive, they spent the night in the woodshed. Quinn tried to give them life but in the end, poor coaching and getting absolutely whipped on both lines of scrimmage were the difference. No way a rematch line, even at the tackle box, wouldn’t be well into the double digits. Those two teams aren’t remotely close. Sorry but that’s the cold hard truth.

Actually they looked worse than some of the other teams we’ve beaten. Problem is, they will be yet another ranked team that fell out of the polls after losing to Texas. And 17-7 might be the most misleading score ever. After watching that game, proper handicap should be Texas -24.5. Oh, and fun fact for you guys on a Sunday morning: Did you know baby elephants weigh 250 lbs at birth? They are the biggest babies on Earth, except for aggy fans…

This hillbilly league is so confusing. We were told for a decade we had no chance to compete in this league. And that it would be a big adjustment to play in the mighty SEC. Good thing it took us zero years to adjust. First year, conference championship game. 13 years, little brother best finish is tied for 3rd in their division. There’s a reason OU is THE rivalry. It’s actually competitive.

Yes, I thought of there as well. I would like for a dome stadium, because the weather has a chance of being bad next Friday. Don’t want SOC to make excuses after they lose. 🤣🤣

Those are terrible places to play this game. Both are significantly closer to SOC.

I think the correct thing would be to say SOC was in a weaker district… Which is true BUT they did beat Huntsville 38-7…Who PNG only beat by 3 points… I think we can agree that nothing in the regular season that happened matters now

It may be an advantage for PNG playing SOC in an earlier playoff game than the state finals. As said above PNG fans travel well, and let’s face it, those state finals games for SOC might as well be home games.

My appointment is at 10AM on Wednesday...Hopefully I'll have a much improved tone afterwards. All kidding aside, you all are definitely the Mount Rushmore of 3A football and that's not even up for debate by 99.999% of people who actually have a pulse and follows Texas High School Football. Hopefully the game on Friday will be competitive and players on both sides of the coin remain as healthy as possible!

We ran into a guy in Natchitoches in the hotel this past weekend. He stopped and asked “does that PNG on your shirt stand for Port Neches?” we said yes it does and he ended up telling us he “hated our guts” lol and that he graduated from Port Arthur Lincoln. very very nice man. Small world.

Don't think either Coach wants Saturday since the state game is Friday night...

Part of the issue here is both teams want to play Friday and there's a lack of sizeable neutral venues available Friday night...NRG is available Saturday but not Friday...I know Prairie View has been discussed (seats 15k) with another 2-3k SRO but PV is dragging their feet...(why I dont know it'd be a big crowd for them)....SFA has been discussed as well, but not sure how interested in hosting SFA is....I dont think SOC is against a larger stadium because Coach Todd called me this afternoon and asked for the contact at NRG Stadium...the issue is NRG won't host Friday..

tu clearly the better team. Most knew that coming into this game. Aggies needed some breaks, got them, but couldn't do anything with them. Horn defense was dominant. Some questionable play calls down at goaline but still had chances. Aggies never could tackle #26. I'm still good with Mike Elcho as our coach.

Wisner with 33/168 rushing. Sounds like a great guy too. Playing for SEC championship in first year.

Absolutely incredible game from the Texas defense. The Texas offense got lucky the ags ran out of time.

Since Huntsville has a stadium now SHSU has made it clear that they won't host high school playoff games. They rather have the attention over there plus since SHSU is now a Division 1 school in NCAA (C-USA is their conference now) they feel like either they can rebuild the stadium or make a new one. It's been a lot of land cleaning out that way so I will expect a new stadium in Huntsville soon.

The record for most passing TD's in a game for Silsbee is 7 by Brisbane vs. Cuero. Moshier's 26 starts as a QB ranks top 5 all time at Silsbee. Trails only Jeremy Johnson (34), Bobby McGallion (33), Patrick Reed (28) and Bryan Doss (27).
