Question, and this is only because I like to help people or even just individuals sort things out... Do you think if you didn't sensationalize or even just generalize things so much then @AggiesAreWe wouldn't post that your "posts are sensationalized" as often? Now, @AggiesAreWe, do you think if Mr. @89Falcon had commented with "sensationalized" posts about a team that you weren't so close to instead of say Silsbee for instance, that you wouldn't think they were getting old? I hope we've all learned something today. If we just stop and ask questions, sometimes a clearer truth and resolution can be reached.

Fact of the matter is we don't and won't know exactly what happened on 1-6.......at least not for a long time. We could have learned a lot if the Select Committee would of done an investigation instead of a made for TV drama.

Liberty Hill has the advantage of getting hot at the right time. Their young violent defense has merged together and found them selves. Due to consistent injuries early on, Liberty Hill has developed a deep roster from their backups playing lights out and now that we are back to health from starters, we have many duel threat weapons in our arsenal. That Nose tackle 44 has had a whole off season and summer of living in the weight room as well as playing Forward in Rugby. He hungry. I’ve had the honor and privilege of watching this particular young man grow up. He is a young General ready to go to war. I was thoroughly impressed by PNG last year against LH. From their aggressive old school football to their Gladiator arena crowd. A team being led by the son of a Legendary head coach has lived up to the bill

Correct. Apparently one of the local doctors in LH bought 100 tickets to be given to fans for free, and they still haven’t gotten them all out. They know their fan turnout is about to get trounced on their own side of the field and they’re trying to mitigate the embarrassment. At some level, I can respect that. But the lesson is clear: agree to a bigger stadium next time. Problem solved.

Why haven’t they released their unsold tickets yet? Some said 10am today and some said they will only be available at the gate. I doubt many will drive all that way without a ticket and hope to get one at the gate. They are purposefully trying to keep people out.

They said PNG fans did it for the purpose of preventing LH fans from being able to attend the game. It’s two very different connotations. One is simply fans wanting to see a game. The other is fans maliciously trying to block others from attending the game (ie, buying tickets they have no intention of using just to keep them out).

This lie is still spreading. It’s an astonishing sequence: (1) PNG fans want to see the game; (2) LH selects a small stadium; (3) Both sides have the same opportunity to buy tickets; (4) PNG fans buy available tickets because they want to watch the game; (5) LH fans don’t buy enough tickets; (6) PNG fans are still desperately trying to locate tickets because there aren’t nearly enough; (7) LH fans claim PnG fans are trying to limit THEM from going to the game. The ability to simultaneously be the cause of their own problems AND to be so especially aggrieved by PNg’s reasonable actions taken in response is incredible. If PNG had its way, every single fan from both sides would attend. Someone might say, “Well, you should have won the coin toss.” Why is it that when we win the coin toss, we make sure MORE fans from the other side can come, but when we lose it the other team tries to leave our fans out? And, given that truth, how are we the bad guys?

I'm going to say that I and probably 95% of the people on this site agree on not bashing a particular kid on this site. And if you consider degrading a teenaged boy as "fun banter", then you need a hug and maybe some professional help.

Alright folks, forum rules prohibit bashing an individual player. The commentary about Liberty Hill's nose tackle is getting excessive. You have to respect the heart and dedication of any kid that size who finds a way to play a position like that well. PN-G fans in particular should know that; many, many times, the Indians have overcome size and athleticism disadvantages to win games they weren't expected to win. Let's move on to another subject.

Westlake and Northshore, this is going to be an interesting one.

Their defensive line is shockingly small. I’m having trouble imagining a scenario where they stop our run game.

Ty We sure were pulling for you. I went and watched you guys play for state way back in the 1998 with my grandfather (Lord Knows I miss him) in Nacogdoches. I thought is was Lufkin but so many years ago I guess it could have been Nac. Great Season Eagles looks like your trajectory is up.

I expect this rematch to look like last year.

LH had to replace most of their defense this year. It’s hard to simulate going up against that large PNG line. It took some time for Huntsville to adjust to it. I see PNG having lots of success on offense and getting the lead. The Slot-T will be forced to play catch-up and they won’t be able to keep up. Win the flip and go score first. Sorry LH. This ain’t Region 4.

Liberty Hill is actually smaller than they were last year I have the feeling it's going to be a long night for them against the PN-G offense
