I wouldn't say that Vidor scoring over 30 pts is too far fetched. Don't quote me on my stats but in the past 4 or 5 seasons, Vidor has scored over 30pts 7 times, 40pts 7 times, 50pts 2 times, and 60pts 2 times.

You don't sleep on an 8X state champion riding a 30 game winning steak. You evaluate your team and decide your confidence level. I'm very confident Crosby is going to play well against Carthage, covid or not.

I gave FB Marshall the nod in the region because I think their new QB Ja'Kobe Banks is going to be a star. After last night I'm going to change my opinion and say I don't think he'll be better than Cyrin Myles. He has the Jaiden Howard-level arm strength, Aston Walter running ability and last night he showed Tristen Cotton-level decision making ability. If that's the level o-line play we're going to get Myles might end up having a 2500/1000 season. It does help to have receivers who will catch the ball and finish like ours though. I said before the scrimmage that we need to show we could run the ball from the rb position and we certainly did that. One of the backs you saw, the one with the white pants, was actually a freshman. He's one of the freshman I mentioned possibly getting moved up in the district prediction thread. That defense is legit, definitely ahead of where they were last year at this time. Doesn't look like a dropoff at all in overall talent on that side of the ball. Once the staff gets the secondary together you can go ahead and send us FB Marshall.

As most of you know, I’m Conservative. Had a great childhood. My parents weren’t religious. Dad believed in a Supreme Being while Mom, had she attended, would’ve probably ended up as Assembly of God or possibly Pentacoastal. My only G’parent, Dads mother, was Catholic, having joined late in life. My sister,six years older than me, joined the Catholic Church. So why did I end up Conservative? I know Liberals with similar childhoods. One of my closest neighbor friends turned out Liberal, but I’m not sure his home was as happy as ours. His Dad was named Carroll and his mother Willie - talk about gender identity. Got my first (second hand) bike from him. No fenders, so riding it after a rainstorm was a mess, which I didn’t mind but brought my Mother to tears. So some of us became conservatives and some liberals - why? Depends on how big the gap is between your top guy and the next guy in line. If your top guy isn’t much better then you probably want to keep fresh bodies on the field. If your top guy is much better even when fatigued then keep him on the field.
