Man, I thought Dayton was gonna pull this one out tonight!!! Came right down towards the end. YES, you are so right about them scoring points again. Imagine if we'd've been running the Spread all year instead of that horrific failure of the Option we were trying to run. 😣 I still get the Red A** over that. I'm not saying that we'd be winning all these games, but at least our kids would have had more practice with the Offense, more time to improve their skills, more time to learn and understand their responsibilities. Glad to see they are at least in games now, not getting blasted.

BH Definitely was winning in the trenches early on. Crosby totally undisciplined but still had chances to win. I been watching football a long time and I have never seen a ref have two of his flags picked up on the same drive. The obvious unnecessary roughness and pass interference. Take nothing away from the Hill. 41 and 48 on that D- line were some tough customers. On the other hand I can't seem to see what it is tht Prieto is working on at practice for CHS offense. QB's can't throw a five yard out in warm -ups. WR can't catch em. The Barrett Station Dragons are better at execution on offense. Good win at the Hill I see them being the only team with a chance at a playoff win from this district.

Couldn’t make it to the game but listened in. It was a defensive struggle. If not for the dogs stripping the ball, Pirates win. Vidor is a few plays off from having a great season. Our defense seems to be there. Offense needs some work if they want to beat Crosby.

Dayton's 7th grade team is legit! I think they play Crosby 7th grade next week and that would be a good one. That Dayton team is disciplined, tackles well, and are just something special. Yes I know 7th grade and things change but good lord they are tough!

The “Whac” is really having a pretty good season. Happy to see them competing and winning some games. Have some friends that live in that community and a good football team always brings renewed school and community pride.

Young QB trying to grow into a position at the moment he doesn't fit but has potential. Tons of small things, instead of diving to make a tackle they chasing and reaching trying to grab jersey which makes a play of no gain into a 5 or 8 yard gain, same with instead of just tackling they're trying to strip the ball on every play which leads to miss tackles and big gains. Offensive line stays in flux, once you get a group that does ok, somebody gets hurt. A bunch of small things that add up to a big problem.

The Raider defense has looked awesome two weeks in a row. They have forced 10+ turnovers in that timespan and now they have a TD to show for their efforts. I hope to see the same stellar defense against Splendora with a shutout next Friday. Offense could be better with discipline, penalties will kill this offense. Too many holding calls and false starts. Other than that, BC just got outplayed all around. Good job Raiders!

Indeed they do, as does that very solid veteran leadership led PNG squad. I know Lumberton faces Jasper, PNG, Barbers Hill, and also highly ranked 3A Hitchcock in their tournament at Lumberton in mid November. Will definitely get a real solid idea of how much work will be needed to improve to being able to compete at the level of competition of those quality programs. Great opportunity for the untested Raider squad.

Hope they can nail this guy...he most likely had some bad intentions for whoever he thought was in that van.
