So that coach in all his years of coaching has never taken an athlete on his team that transferred in because of athletic reasons. This happens all the time. Sometimes you benefit sometimes you lose. If this kid wasn't as good as he is we wouldn't even be hearing about it. The coach was mad about losing a 5Star WR.

I’m happy to see some confidence folks. LCM oline and dline needs some work. LCM has good passing attack but it’s gonna come down to the LCM kids wanting to Win. I hope LCM shows up.

1st half will be a normal scrimmage followed by 2 quarters of normal game play minus kick-off and punt returns. A few starters will not play to allow them to fully recover from various injuries and be ready for the St. Pius game next week. Start time is 7pm.

I wasn't going to say anything about the QB position, because after three years of L'Raven we got spoiled. This QB is far from him.

I was gonna say this last week after going to the inter squad scrimmage, but WB will miss L’Raven playmaking ability. Don’t get me wrong Troy is solid and has a good arm but Idk is like last night I went looking for something and I just didn’t see it. Hopefully the bruins make me eat my words. Hoping for a great season

Those 30 schools are well aware of where the kid stands academically. You do realize that they won't even talk to kids they don't think will meet their academic requirements, don't you? [Hidden Content] Bottom line... the committee probably thought the same thing that I'm thinking. What can this new school possibly do for him academically that the school district in which he actually lives couldn't do in K-11? My answer..nothing. I'll say again. The kid should've changed permanent residence along with his legal guardian and then this wouldn't have been an issue. This exact circumstance is exactly what this specific rule is for.

But they didn't move. The kid's legal guardian still stayed at the same residence.. meaning that he just changed schools. Had they ACTUALLY MOVED then nothing could've been done about it. What you're implying is that kid's should just be able to change schools whenever they want even if they say it's for academic reasons. That's exactly why this RULE is in place and exactly why the eligibility was denied. SMH..

The kid's mom/parent should have moved. Had they changed their address this wouldn't even be an issue.

Great test of a scrimmage by both teams. Both teams need to clean up the penalties. Very pleased with how scrimmages played out. Dogs will be ready for WOS. Best of luck to PA in the season and hopefully a long playoff run for y’all!

Wow thanks for the update! Agreed even knowing this is just a scrimmage being dominated by a lower class team like that can’t be good for the Rangers. On the other hand hearing that the Eagles not only moved the ball, but was stingy on Defense in encouraging for the Eagles.

Blake Bost is the real deal. Very smart and just nicked and dimed WB’s Defense. Very intelligent kid who will manage the game but will catch you sleeping and drop a bomb on you over the top

I just need a PNG fan to tell me why #21 isn't starting at RB and why #13 isn't starting at slot WR? They were clearly the best players at their positions for the Indians.

Both scrimmages were against run heavy teams and the Tigers defense did do a good job of stopping it. Now, PNG is a very balanced team and will test our Tigers secondary. Oh, the smell of fresh cut grass and the roar of the crowd.

Not one hundred percent sure but I think Silsbee scored five touchdowns and Brownsboro scored one touchdown. Silsbee looked better but still lacking in the passing game. Silsbee has several players hurt and did not play and a couple more got hurt tonight. Ready or not bring on the regular season. TigerNation!!!

Were it not for the census bureau adding Newton County to the count, Beaumont Port Arthur Orange would have had negative growth. Most census projections show the area shrinking in population by the end of the century. As for the plants, these new units only need 5-10 people to run them. The construction is temporary. The area really needs to diversify. It's not a good sign when Orange county doesn't have a hospital and they refuse to pay for one and Port Arthur loses one. Doesn't speak well for the health and growth prospects for the area.

I see some people are letting their "views" spill over into the sports threads. Take that back to the prejudice/political threads. Smdh...

Isn't it sad that the mentality of the people in SETX is so far behind the rest of Texas that they will not pass a bond to help the sports in SETX. All I hear on here is how far behind SETX is in sports, but things that will help catch SETX up with the rest of the state, people will not do what is required to do. The people have to be willing to do their part and if you are willing it may cost for a bit but it will be worth it. Yes, there was money for turf but it got pulled back. Shame.

Sterling was really bad, BH scored 7 times to Sterlings zero. Sterling didn’t even get a first down till the third quarter. The scrimmage ran four 10 min quarters with a five min half. The Rangers are in for a long year. BH looked good but it’s hard to tell considering the opponent. Sterling needs to do whatever they can to make sure that when realignment happens They get out of 6A.

That leg injury on big man didn't look good. Couldn't put any pressure on it at all. And not a good sign to get carted off. Prayers sent. Hope the big guy is ok...
