Snapshot day (realignment)

This might be an unpopular opinion but the  idea of d1 and d2 during the regular is ridiculous for travel and budget purposes. 2-3 hour drives to play some district games is insane.

I didn't think the opt-up crew from last time were either, I thought they claimed because of travel?

I'm reasonably well-connected out here at HF and haven't heard anything about this. But hey, you never know I guess.

I do not see them doing it either, I was just jesting at them possibly just trying to play the teams who avoided them last alignment lol

There's good arguments on both sides of it...there's a lot of 6A people clammoring for splitting too...

Bottom line is more supts want the split for football than dont...until there's enough in a class that ask the UIL to change they won't...same in 6A....enough supts are happy not being split that it wont change

Mid county schools traveling to Huntsville for a district game shouldn’t have ever happened… 

just like Mid County and Port Arthur Memorial a few years ago round 1 playoff games from the bottom of the state to the top of the state matchups. Hopefully UIL gets it together… no reason setx schools should be in region 2.
