Smitty, since you still abide by the rules of Leviticus, I'm sure it's safe to assume that you do not eat shellfish or pork, spread slander (I think we all know you still do this regularly ;) ), trim your beard, do not stand in the presence of the elderly, mistreat foreigners (ha!), and surely you've never sold land. Am I right?

The problem with Christians using the whole "Not bound by the laws of the old testament" thing is that you always have some yahoo quoting the old testament to try and make a point. I introduce Exhibit A above.

It's about to get real ugly in South Carolina. .

I do a lot of ridealongs with tvc, and officers are constantly trying to fix cameras and body mics that are malfunctioning. For whatever that's worth to you. -
Aaron Hernandez verdict.

He's guilty as hell, but anytime you bring a jury into play, anything can happen. -
UConn is just too good.

Not sure. You'd have a hard time justifying a dead guy with a whole bunch of holes in his back 30 feet from where you're shooting, who the evidence would show was running away, tazer or not. -

It's hard to see who's dropping the tazer at the start of the video. If they suspect did, it's possible the cop didn't realize he'd dropped it, shot him, saw it back where they started, knew how it would look, and planted it. But honestly, that's not a defense, just a theory. -

When cops shoot someone and it's not justified, they are generally charged with crimes. The problem is when it's justified and the media reports differently based on bad information and conjecture. -
that tipped ball blown call overshadowed the play about a minute earlier where Duke got an and-1 opportunity after a ref standing just a couple of feet away somehow missed Justise Winslow stepping out of bounds before "saving" the ball to Okafor for a layup. I'm surprised how many people are mentioning one without the other. The group package is more telling.

28 minutes into the game Wisconsin was up 9. Then the fouls started coming hot and heavy, and Duke starting making their free throws. Listening to Mike and Mike this morning on the way to work I heard 3 different talking heads mention the officials, so I know I'm not crazy.
-
Two obvious blown calls late gift duke 5 points, they win by 5. Duke in the double bonus at the 9 minute mark, duke with a foul to give with 20 seconds left. I'm burned about my bracket group, but I was on the phone at the start of the 2nd and got to fast forward through the first ten minutes of the second half to the action, and it was soft foul after soft foul on Wisconsin. Then combine that with what happened at the end, and I'm a little grouchy right now

Coach K mentioned foul count at halftime, the refs quickly fixed the problem
-
Gotta stretch the game out, but why not foul anyone but him?
-
By my count Wisconsin is up 2 right now
-
Duke with an 8 point lead, 5 off of clearly blown calls by the officials, one of which they reviewed and STILL got wrong!

You've gotta be cursewording kidding me

That's wisconsin's ball

Duke about to make me lose $500
-
Right after the ref standing 2 ft away missed winslows out of boundsness
-
That was a foul though :)
-
Duke's keys to winning in this second half: 1. Drive recklessly to the basket 2. Shoot two free throws. The refs have more than evened the foul count up.

Out of 60 or more employees, they were able to find less than 10 racist emails sent by only 3 employees over more than 5 years. That's hardly a pattern or rampant racism or discrimination, even amongst the 3 that they DID catch. On top of that, somebody telling an inappropriate joke or sending an inappropriate email does not necessarily mean that they are not doing their job properly. A police officer could hear a racist joke, retell it, and still go out and treat people fairly while on his beat. I'm not sure what you don't think makes sense.
-
While the emails are inappropriate, I don't see how 3 people trading a small number of racist emails over a long period of time is indicative of any type of pattern of racism. It's honestly not even proof that these 3 performed their job in a discriminatory nature.

Watching them play the thunder. I'm not sure what's worse, Harden drawing a foul every time he looks at the basket, or OKC intentionally fouling Houston to send their historically bad free throw shooting team to the line. The 3rd quarter has taken about 6 hours. Houston must have shot 20 fts that quarter.
