NE is looking pretty decent, but it's hard to believe ND has had the season they've had watching them today

Northeastern up 24-22 at the final media timeout of the first half. Northeastern really does have a similar makeup to UT, but much less talented. ND might be in trouble if texas wins today. And that's assuming ND pulls this one out.

Watching ND struggle early with notheastern's big man makes me feel a lot better about picking texas and their giant size to beat them next round

Another thing the playin games do is give #16 seeds a chance to win a meaningful NCAA tourney game

I think when you're talking about the last 5 in and the last 5 out, it's pretty close as to who deserves to make it and who does it, and this gives some of those teams who would've been left out a chance.

They took the four worst 16-seeds and made them play for two spots, and took the four best bubble teams and had them play for two spots. I guess it's an effort to improve the quality of teams in the tourney. In the old day your two winners of the bubble games are in the NIT, and two of your 16-seeds are 15-seeds. This way I guess they've found a way for a couple of additional teams with reasonable arguments to be in the tourney to get a chance to make it.

Great ending to this one

They're doing that because the bubble teams that are playing in for an 11-seed are infinitely better than the teams getting 16-seeds. It wouldn't be fair for a #1 seed to have to play a Dayton or boise st as a 16 in their first game.

i had them their on my bracket.  then i sat back and said "nah".  i have them pulling the upset in the 1st and losing a tight one to ND. 

I'm okay with it. They should've won more games, but they played a top-25 schedule and didn't have a loss to a team lower than 52 on the bpi

I don't know how many people in the world are capable of intentionally hitting someone in the face with a pistol round in the dark at 120 yards, but I would be shocked if the number was much higher than 5 or 10. I've shot with TVC, and he's a very good shot. What do you think TVC, how many times could you hit someone in the head with a pistol in the DAYLIGHT at say 50 yards if you tried 10 times?
