Foles was 14-4 as a starter. My only theory is that they're picking up Bradford as a backup or stop-gap until Mariota is ready, as I don't think Bradford fits into the eagles system. But that's an expensive stop gap
-
Couldn't believe this either. Foles has shown he's pretty good. Bradford has shown he's very fragile.
-
Couldn't believe this one!

I'm undecided about the exact extent of global warming, but these types of articles and arguments always make me laugh. They're no more valid than me coming on here during a 97 degree day in august and saying "see, I told you global warming is real!"
-
it's irrelevant. all of the media is full of crap. the fact that the article states that only 20% of those polled claimed to "trust Fox a lot" shows you just how much they're really trusted.

I could tackle him. With a baseball bat. Maybe.
-
are you saying we should be more like those countries?
-
You know he's tough, but i'll still be interested to see what happens the first time he's lit up by a guy who's 6'5" 320.

HUGE win!
-
If its a foul 2 seconds into the game it's a foul with 2 seconds left in the game
-
Might be beside the point, but he got a shot up with enough time left for the horns to rebound and get fouled. Shoulda been going to the line with a chance to win.
-
3 tvs in this house and every one of them recording something, so now I'm relegated to watching stat tracker :)
-
Still, did the longhorn that was getting the rebound not get mauled?
-
All 12 of texas' losses against the rpi top-50. One solid win might be enough to get them in the dance.
-
Watching the body language of his players tonight, it's time for him to go.
-
The announcers are falling all over themselves about how great Baylor is at "shoving you out of the way" to get offensive rebounds. Maybe I'm a homer, but all I'm seeing is a bunch of fouls the refs aren't calling. Isn't "shoving someone" a foul?
-
What's frustrating is how many close games texas has lost to good teams.
-
They have a team that could pull it off. They don't really have many "bad" losses, but they sure could use a "big" win. On a positive, UT will have to play the first day of the big 12 tourney, which will give them a chance to increase their win total on the year, which might help a little to get in the big dance. But all of that's irrelevant if they lose tonight...

His stance on immigration is a good one for a republican trying to win nomination. Offer a path to citizenship, but immigrants must stay off government handoffs, must work, and must stay out of jail. -
We're 36 comments in and i've only seen one conservative out of maybe 10 that has displayed any knowledge on the subject at all. I pointed out that a very conservative, and generally very "in the know" commenter on this site admits to not knowing about it as validation that it's obviously not common knowledge for all conservatives as you'd have us believe. He's the type of guy who knows all the issues, and has strong opinions about them. If he's unfamiliar with this one, then there are a LOT of folks unfamiliar with it. As for the authors of this "newspiece", they spent 1000 words talking about how terrible Obama is for supporting this issue, but spend ZERO words explaining what the issue is. Riling up the readers without informing the readers. That's mindless sheep fodder. and speaking of ASSuming... Please tell me where you came up with the ASSumption that 99% of conservatives already know what net neutrality is. If they're getting their knowledge from articles like the one posted in this thread, they won't know a single thing about it. It seems highly unlikely that 99% of the conservatives on this thread know what it is... a few have expressed questions, one admitted ignorance on the topic, and only ONE has displayed any obviously knowledge on the subject at all.

I appreciate your honesty. And that being said, I respect the fact that you generally have your finger on the pulse of current issues, even if you and I may butt heads on them from time to time. So if you aren't familiar with the issue, then I think it's safe to say that many, if not most folks aren't familiar with it either. And this is the whole point of my issue with this article... I don't have a problem with someone having a stance one way or the other on this issue, but I do have a problem with a propaganda site spending this much time and effort into riling up their readers without making ANY effort to actually educate their readers on the issue. This article is fodder for mindless sheep.
-
I highly doubt that 30% of the conservatives reading the article know what it is, and if they do, they have a knowledge of it based on information gleaned from low information articles such as this one.
-
pretty typical article from one of these websites: riles up the conservative reader without explaining what is happening or why? A whole article bashing the net neutrality movement and its supporters, but no explanation as to what it actually is. Not that any of their readers need an explanation to hate something Obama's behind.
