I don't think for a minute that she was attempting to run over the ICE officer, but rather she panicked and tried to get away when she realized she was actually going to face some consequences for her dumb behavior. She was likely focused on the officer screaming at her through her window and trying to open her door. that doesn't change the fact that she accelerated directly at an ICE officer and either almost hit him or actually did hit him before he fired. this was clearly a justified shooting. It's wild to me that the mayor is getting away with making up a story where the series of events are completely contradicted by multiple videos of what actually happened.

like I said, I know that a lot of politics come into play. If the WRS awards had a utility award, Pirtle would be on the shortlist of favorites to win it. And just so it's clear, because I know he's one of your guys, this is in no way a knock on the player. He had a really good season and deserved recognition this year. Therein lies the issue. If two illegal immigrants have a houseful of kids while living here, then their household can still have several dependents receiving government assistance. The left also uses those children as an excuse not to follow the law and deport their parents. It’s about the best argument there is against birthright citizenship.

Well, if through limited research Porter has determined that she’s pretty accurate sometimes, that oughta be good enough for everyone I guess. You’re falling back on the same “it’s up to other people to prove random stuff that’s posted on Twitter wrong” argument again. If her numbers are correct, Reagan should be able to find a real source for them. Or more importantly, why didn’t she post the source herself? I don’t know. It’s hard to trust anything these days. But “some lady on Twitter” doesn’t seem like a good option either.

The problem with posting tweets as fact is that literally anyone can post anything. The fact of the matter is, I agree with the sentiment of the original post. But that doesn’t mean it’s a legitimate source of information. And someone asking for an actual source for the numbers and being told “to prove it wrong” isn’t how debating works.

I wasn’t crediting you with the numbers posted. I was responding to your comment about them. And I’d step down from your vaccine pulpit. That’s way off topic here.

It’s lazy to just throw out whatever numbers off of Twitter from whatever random user and then say “prove it wrong.” How about proving it right before you post, especially if you’re going to say it’s fact?
