Hopefully this helps. I haven't been in the political forum maybe 10 times this calendar year because it's gotten to the point that there's really no point at all.
-
Iowa wins comfortably.

Give me HF 35-24. I think Stafford is good, and they're fast, but they also could easily be 1-2 and are getting some credit beating a couple of schools who aren't quite up to their usual standards. HF beat them 31-14 last year, and while Stafford may be better this year, so is HF.
-
yeah. but La Vernia finished first in Bay City's district and made it to the state semis and then lost 49-0 to Kilgore. I don't think Bay City's a bad team, but I don't think they'd be ranked if they were anywhere else in the state (except if they were in the valley)

I took NC. It's a toss-up in my opinion.

tend to agree with this one. I have a feeling Bay City would finish 3rd or 4th in WOS's 4A-D2 district.
-
doesn't feel like either of these teams are near what they were last year, but Silsbee will trend up while it seems BC is trending down.

What Week 4 game(s) will you be attending?

Riding the yellow dog to Stafford this Friday. Should be a good test for my Horns. -
The disparity with Allen wasn't that much different a couple of years ago when DeSoto beat them by 30. I'm not saying DeSoto should beat them, but a #1 team can't lose 50-6 to a team a division up and stay #1.
-
even playing tough, larger competition, you can't lose your first two games by a total of 88-22 and stay #1.
-
With three timeouts left why not burn off ten more seconds there? It’s not much time, but they can go 35 yds in 25 seconds
-
Horns showed us a couple of things tonight, regardless of the outcome. 1. They have a lot of stuff to clean up. 2. They have a lot of fight in them. It looked like this was gonna get real bad, now they’re a stop and score away from a win somehow
-
But imagine if LSU had pros…
-
I like them on 2nd and 5, not on 4th and 1 at midfield when you desperately need points
-
He’s brought the horns back to relevance, but the amount of times he does dumb crap like that is mind boggling. He’s also really bad about passing up a FG and then failing to get 7.
-
Well-deserved halftime result for the horns. They aren’t getting dominated the way the score looks, but a combination of poor execution and dumb decisions have killed them. Fumble the first play, turn a 50-yard bomb into an interception, drop a wide open touchdown that hits you in the hands in the endzone, call a reverse and lose 10 yds on 4th and 1 the play after your receiver opts to go out of bounds instead of easily picking up the first (which gifts OSU 7 before the half)… really hard to win games doing that against average teams, much less OSU. If they don’t get a stop coming out of the half this one’s over, and it probably is anyway

LCM was able to take a lot of air out of the ball with some penalty and spot-aided drives, but the horns D made some huge plays to stop them. The 1st team D has given up 3 points in 2 weeks. The offense wasn’t clicking quite as well as they have the first two weeks, but still did more than enough against a solid Bears D. Tough matchup against Stafford next week, who has wins this season against Hitchcock and Bellville.

last thing we want is a wet(ter) field. Broussard with dry footballs is a nightmare for opposing secondaries. TBH, it's probably still the same when they're wet.
-
oh, also, I'll have that deer sausage for you in a cooler in the back of my truck. you won't need ice, just a cooler.
-
if you stay on the track you'll be fine. No promises if you decide to go take a selfie in the corner down by the endzone
-
Had a pretty good rain shower go through earlier, but should stop early enough to dry things out some.
-
and pretty much anywhere else. Scary to punt to, also.

what did he say, and who did you have?
