Dude shouldn’t have grabbed him 3 ft in front of the official I guess while the ball was halfway there 🤷🏻♂️ -

OF gifted the softest 15 yds of all time on an unsportsmanlike, then next play qb with a helluva deep ball for a touchdown -

Orangefield vs. HF: Each team with 2 possessions so far. OF with maybe 2 first downs, HF recovered two fumbles on their second controlled possession. HF moved the ball on their first possession but stalled out, scored on about a 70 yd jet sweet on their second. -
I generally carry everywhere outside of our little community here in HF, but this article goes to show something could happen any time, anywhere.

I don't remember much about the facility it's been so long. Probably been upgraded quite a bit since then. I always stop at the store there in SA to grab a snack on my way up to jefferson.
-
I drive through SA several fridays a year during deer season. May have to try and time it to where I can stop and watch a game. Haven't seen them play since we played them my senior year back in 01

Week-1 PN-G at Port Arthur Memorial Predictions

PA 31-21 -
Bingo. After his first term I said he was a jerk but did a pretty good job. Thought that his attitude turned off potential voters, which it clearly did. The dems were in such shambles that he got elected again. This time he's an even bigger jerk but he's done a bad job. Except for the border, as you mentioned.

I struggle to understand the people who still staunchly support Trump. Would I vote for him again over Biden? Obviously. But he's done way more harm than good to the Republican party, especially during this election cycle. You don't have to agree with me, but the proof will be in the midterms. the left is nuttier and less electable than it's ever been, and they're about to make significant gains. It almost defies logic.

for what it's worth, someone definitely made this up. confirmed AI.

HF hasn't had a particularly tough schedule, but after going 10-27 last year they're off to an 8-1 start, which is a nice improvement.
-
For once Texas deservedly top-5, and not just overhyped. I think the Ags are ranked too high, though. With a much tougher schedule this year i'll be impressed if they don't revert back to their usual 4 losses.

Did the D1 blue chipper move from South Houston to Shadow Creek because of the 6-point difference between the schools’ TEA report cards or was it the 8-win difference between the football teams… I guess we’ll never know 🙄 -

Jones might be leaving an even bigger hole on the defensive side. I think relatively competitive is reasonable, but they're only contending for second, and only because Barbers Hill got their second "not for athletic reasons" quarterback transfer in two years. -
Was a good chance to win 3 or 4. Next two series are make or break at this point.

I don't think enough people have put enough stock into how much Jones and Watley meant to this team. There's no "adjusting" to losing them. They won't be a bad team, but this isn't gonna be close to last year's team. -

Talked to a coworker whose son plays and she said HF beat up on Huffman pretty good, but I don't have any details on how it went down other than she said "HF made it into the endzone 7 times and Huffman maybe twice". Not sure how it went during the controlled or live portions of the scrimmage, or how accurate her report is, but she mostly knows what's going on. Watching Broussard in practice this year, he's getting scary good. -
that's a tough one for sure.

oh yeah, I know how it works. TEA is using scores that come from DISD, though. -

for sure, if it's legit. I truly don't know. Hard to trust stuff coming out of DISD sometimes... In 2025 DISD had only 11 Ds and 2 Fs out of over 200 schools. I find that pretty unbelievable. To put that into perspective, BISD had 7 Ds and 7 Fs with only 23 campuses last school year. That said, if DISD's score are truly accurate then that's a definite eye opener to how dysfunctional BISD has been.
