Nope, they had started again last Wednesday. A second student's parent notified WO-S that he had tested positive on Friday. They were originally going to continue S&C workouts and just quarantine the athletes and coaches in the positive student's group. But today, they decided to shut everything down 'til July 13th.

Cool so Ned (my cousin) left Caney Creek for one reason. Family. His daughter just graduated and is heading off to college. HIs son, who'll be a seventh grader absolutely hated CC. He wanted to go to a 'country' school and did not want to be in a 'city' ever again. Ned wanted to go somewhere where he felt like there was enough talent to have a chance to make the play-offs. He applied at Hardin and 2 other districts. (both were considerably farther distances from Hardin, which is a short drive from where the majority of his family lives) Because of this, and the fact that his in-laws live in Livingston, Hardin was the consensus choice. For sure it was an all-time classic. I still go back and watch it every now and then. And for the posters here talking about atmosphere, that game had it and then some. I remember being in line at 4:30 to get a ticket and fans 6 deep all around the fences.

One of the greatest games I ever attended was WOS at Jasper in 1987.

Could’ve started the rivalry back last football season. Honestly, it should’ve never been taken but people too sensitive these days..
