Astros lose 3-2. Houston pitching had 7 walks, Seattle had 2. Both had 9 K's and each team had 8 hits. Lead is still 2 games over Arlington but now 4 over Seattle. Seattle has owned Houston this season winning 9 of the 11 games. They only play two more times.

While there is no details in the link, my guess is there is no or not enough oversight. Some of you know I'm in Banking. If you remember the Band Booster Mom that stole from Lumberton.....No oversite They don't audit monthly or have "dual control" in a lot of cases. Barbers Hill can still be covered. Anyone can post threads about Barbers Hill. Schedule or game threads can be posted. We are not banning BH talk from the site. We are just not covering the district they are now in. Not a single one of those schools besides BH have we ever covered here. One coverage team in a district is simply not enough to warrant us covering the entire district. Have to draw the line somewhere. You are incorrect about BH always have been covered here. The site started in 2005. I have been here since the start. We did not cover BH when we started the site. Didn't incorporate them in the coverage area until around 2007. Our coverage policy has always been the same. It takes at minimum 3-4 core teams in a district for us to cover that district. It is what it is.

Coach Joseph's on the phone with Coach Todd at SOC...per Coach Todd, you have to let a player transfer out if you want a few players to transfer in...you know...for academic purposes. Over at PN-G, we are still learning the "process" and how to be SOC-like in the transfer portal.

Funny thing. Last year, La Porte had a solid Sr. RB (Alijah Bright) who would have complemented Sean Simon in the backfield, and also been a good slot man similar to Sandolph in 2024. He had come up through LP's system, and been a very good player. Obviously, he was no Simon. Those are rare. So, he wasn't going to replace Simon even if he was a Sr. and Simon a Soph. Someone at Goose Creek Memorial convinced him he could start for their program. So, he transferred to GCM. He didn't do horrible. But, he only had 94 carries for 616 yards and 9 TD's. He could have had a lot more at LP, and been used instead of Ashton Ruffin--or along with Ruffin--and D1 recruiters were crawling all over LP. He went to GCM, and I haven't seen where he's even playing anywhere now. So, when these kids get talked into stuff, it doesn't always work out the way they/parents think--or are promised--it will.

Did the D1 blue chipper move from South Houston to Shadow Creek because of the 6-point difference between the schools’ TEA report cards or was it the 8-win difference between the football teams… I guess we’ll never know 🙄

Pretty easy when you get transfers every year. Great coach but let's be real. Qb goes to PAM, transfer feom Canada. QB comes back, but bc Babin goes to BH, the lefty from BH transfers to EC. For once id like to play EC with the same players they have in jr high.
