  1. West Brook on ball pressure from the guards is something to see. Now that they are healthy , they are picking up full court. Making it difficult for opposing guards to get into their offense . If they can keep this up they may bring another one back !!!

  2. Not surprising at all honestly…Vidor couldn’t handle the defense at all. BC has been playing nothing by 5A & 6A. They’ve been battle tested and we hope they keep this up! 71-49 BC final Starters pulled out at a 40 point lead.

  3. And some thought this idiot, along with the idiot Kamala the Ugandan Warrior, was fit to run this country. Shows what that voting sector knows. Thank God they didn’t win. #MAGA

  4. When a protestor would challenge ICE and get met with lethal force...... From a 22 year DOJ Prosecutor: "As soon as she accelerated with the officer in front of her, she committed the 20 year version of Sec. 111(b) offense. At that moment she became a "fleeing felon" and a deadly or dangerous threat to the community that justified the use of deadly force. The case law in favor of the officer is robust and rock solid." 5. It was rhetorical. Chuckie will be at the top of the list. Him and his cronies will forget all about unarmed Ashli Babbitt.

  6. Have not seen a post on the All District Picks. Silsbee and WOS cleaned up as one would expect. 9-4A All-District Team - KOGT

  7. Understood. I did not take it that way. There were a few very good versatile players in the district that could have had a case.

  8. A reason why I no longer post All-District teams. They have become a farce with all the different "special" accolades and the fact that more than 44 players make 1st team and 2nd teams. 71 players made Superlatives/1st/2nd teams (not counting honorable mentions). A normal count would be 47-48, at most 50.

  9. I watched them against PNG, Nederland and then I watched the HJ game online. I’m not saying BC isn’t 10-15 points better than a full strength healthy Vidor team, because they are, but not how this game went. That’s why I was wondering about Vidors issues? There is a difference in a team winning each quarter by 3-5 and by the end of the game winning by 20 and a team being up 30 by halftime or midway through the 3rd and then winning by 20.

  11. I tend to agree. I would make OF a 4-5 point favorite. Not sure where some of these people are getting double digit win.

    9-4AD2 All District Picks

I know there's a lot of politics that goes on in these things, but a one-way player (with a little special teams thrown in) getting Utility Player of the Year over Pirtle is wild.

  13. That is a big spread to take against Coach Sutherland in East Chambers. I know our boys are very good this year, but he is the best at limiting Scales's touches and that always changes the game. I truly believe this game will be closer than most folks anticipate. Don't get me wrong, I whole heartedly believe that our Bobcats come away with the win, but EC can never be taken lightly.

    Bridge City 71 Vidor 49/FINAL

What starter was missing? Vidor had a different starting line up last night but every normal starter they’ve had this season played a bunch last night. I assume the starting line up was a little different that they didn’t start as a continuation of the discipline issues. That’s the only reason I would think those guys weren’t out there to start in a game that big

  19. If they can get out of their own way, Jasper should get in this year, and make some noise in the district for the next couple years. The soph group is the best in a while and the district looks to be down overall.

  22. SA had no business losing this game. I bet they missed at minimum 15 shots under the basket and had 4 unforced turnovers in last 45 seconds, one on last possession that could have tied or won the game.

  23. I apologize, while searching for the scores, I didn’t realize I had clicked on a game from last year on NFHS. When I tried to search for the game again, I couldn’t find it anywhere. So the score to this game is still unclear.

  25. Gotcha. Watched Vidor beat HJ this year. Figured they had the speed to keep this to more like 20. Good win BC!

  37. They could just as well hire me as the head of thoracic surgery at Harvard Medical School. A police officer would be well suited to be in charge of a prestigious position at a medical school. After all, I have been to about half a dozen classes on first aid. The Dems, right on schedule, are into box checking. And no, we absolutely shouldn’t be surprised.
