Chapel Hill was not the Chapel Hill of old. Every team that made the playoffs in 10-4A would have beat them. BC will beat Navasota as well and then it's over. Kilgore will beat them by 28+ That is not to discredit them in any way but Kilgore is just a different beast.

@lionpride08 Ya. The more I look into it, Franklin just has decent size over all. Big line, big RB. Maybe they have an off day. But hey, games aren’t won on the stat sheet. I do know a guy from Franklin & I’ve tried to talk smack but he won’t bite (lol)…. Just humble & let’s the team record speak for themselves. I think Orangefield can score, just will have trouble stopping them may be a shootout. Orangefield is not scare to pass that for sure if we score we have to have the best game by all, WR, RB & the QB & especially the DL/OL I guess the entire team

Very proud of our Bobcats last night! Even though Jaxon Agerton returned to help us out, we are still very shorthanded and yet they still battled and kept it close with 5A Nederland (Who has their whole team) all night. Our core leadership of Scales, Willis, & Jones unselfishly led, and the younger guys all stepped up and played well at the Varsity Level. Should be a great year when we get everyone back!

Massey Ratings and DCTF had United the favorite to beat Madison. Massey had it 35-6 United. Pretty much everyone had United winning that game. Stepp, Tepper. All the experts. Madison doesn't make playoffs in United district. Probably finish 7th behind West Brook and Baytown Sterling.

I always feel like there's plenty of variables at play in these things....honestly going for 2 originally seems like the right call...underdog on the road...steal a win...my guess is Willis was on the fence and then penalty and the extra 1.5 yards pushed him to give it a shot.....in vaccum guaranteed points are always safest...but in the scenario where 1 more point from 1.5 yards and its game over vs taking your chances in OT those statistical models may change

Like Hippy said, a lot of these files will not be released without a court order. I believe there will be many surprises in store. Lots of people who have never been mentioned……politicians on both sides, businessmen, and Hollywood elites. I connect dots and I would say Diddy, Weinstein, and Epstein all crossed paths and have common acquaintances. It’s much bigger than Epstein, although that’s huge by himself.

I was pretty impressed with this North Shore team. Very good defensively with applying on ball pressure. Rebound very well. Offensively they like to get out on the break but can shoot the three. #2 hit 6 three's last night while scoring 24. They have a nice post player (about '6"8). First year HC at NS is doing some good things. Already with some quality wins this season (beat College Park) Will keep an eye on this team this season.

I’m not sure how good Franklins defense is. I know they’ve given up some points but have locked down some offense. Is Franklins defense good because the offense eat the clock & give the other offense little time or do they stuff the other offense. I know Orangefield only had the ball one in the first half vs Hardin & scored in under 3 mins. one play that probably shouldn’t have happened at the end of the 1st half changed the game. But that old history. I guess we’ll see tomorrow. What’s the weather look like.

Correct. There are several 1A teams that only have one team. Only varsity. From what I know, HI has 1 senior, 1 junior, 2 soph. and 4 fresh. that make up their entire basketball program. They only have about 60 kids total in HS

Not really. HI couldn't even field a 6 man football team this season. HI only has 8 players in the basketball program, 4 are freshmen.

Hamshire-Fannett should never play High Island. Jasper and WO-S should never play Goodrich.

In that situation, I would not have gone for two. Crosby had 1st and goal from the 4 yard line. It took them 4 downs to get that 4 yards for a TD. So no, I wouldn’t have trusted the play calling or offense on one play.

The first two years of the present coach was playing off the residual of the previous coach. The 3rd year and this year was all on this coach. The same situation happened with the former Nederland coach.
