  1. My once a year post. Last year I pretty Much laid it out how it ended. Trap game and PNG was super flat. I do think without that win last year, Nederland would not be super happy with their coach. IMO it has given them hope, other than last year’s win, Nederland doesn’t have much to be positive about. This year’s take is the same, but different. Trap game? 100%, but Joesph will have us ready to play this year. I do not predict a blow out, but I do not see Nederland winning this game. They will throw the kitchen sink at us, but in the end, little brother will remain little brother. I’ll take PNG. Closer game than most will predict. In the end, without uncle Larry, Nederland is the old Nederland. The rah rahs will say Nederland is better than they have played. Truth is, maybe, but Nederland fans have always lived on the Uncle Larry era. And that’s simply over. PNG for the win.. But on a positive for the Pups, at least you will get some state wide attention this week because of the rivalry aspect. You heard it here first. And if any have taken this post as negative, I do have a peace offering. We have a trophy case across the tracks if any of you would like to come see what relevance looks like!!! PNG….. Enough said……..

  4. We love him and the rest of the staff! They are pouring into our kids and we are thankful for that. The amount of senior leadership we lost last season is proving to be the difference. A lot of lessons are being learned by our young team but they fight until the very end. Better make the most of your opportunity now because Nederland is going to be loaded for the next several years with a coaching staff that is more than capable of getting the most out of them, both on and off the field.

  6. It was HC last week. They came out flat and scored on the first drive. Well what we see may be different. But the results are the same. Teams we should beat still give us problems. They got lucky a few times with the turnovers. They proved they cant finish opening a gift. Looked like they were trying to pass downfield more. Like practice against a weaker secondary. This will not work against better teams. Neither will all the penalties that erased TD runs. At one point we were on the 4 and went backwards and had to punt. Discipline is never there anymore. But lets move on to next week vs Silsbee for the DC. Every week gets us closer to the end of the experiment. Shoe 7-1 Pam 8-0 Zach 5-1 Dick 7-0

  7. I waited until this morning because i didn't want to post anything last night because of emotions....Let me add a little something that i found out looking at the posts on this forum while the game was going on, We (Bruins) for the first 24 minutes had people believing that this game could be where David slew Goliath (didn't happen) ....PAM defense stymied the offense and the WB defense stayed on the field wayyy to long...Now on to the BU Timberwolves is what we should be focused on...Correct me if i'm wrong (and i know someone will) if we (Bruins) win the next 3 games we will get a playoff spot...that is the goal right now....I'm through...see y'all Friday night @ the Beaumont Bowl....GO BRUINS

  8. Titan defense only gave up 7 points last night. Other 11 points came on kickoff return and two safeties. West Brook had less than 200 yards of offense. QB only completed 5 passes the entire game (well 8 if you count the 3 picks). Memorial defense is an elite defense to say the least. Titan offense will need to have a better passing attack if they want to make a deep playoff run. Some of the passes were drops, but both the QB and WR's will need to step up in the passing game to really make this offense a major threat. Run game is very good (particularly the QB). Oline is solid but WB is pretty light on the defensive side of the ball and not very physical. Titans took advantage of that aspect. Really like this Memorial team. That defense will carry them a long ways.

  12. Hornets looked a like different team in the 2nd half. They scored TD’s on every drive. Dayton with the critical bad snap on 4th and goal at the 1 yard line late in the 3rd Qtr. QB Prieto was out of the game at the time. Also the missed X point cost the Broncos.

  17. !!:0/25/H Pretty sloppy 1st half for PNG. They didn’t really execute well at all. Coaches secretly like half’s like this. They have a comfortable lead while not playing well. I’m sure Joseph is going to let them hear it at half.

  19. Silsbee's secondary will need to keep those wondering eyes out of the backfield. That has been a struggle for Silsbee this season.
