Exactly. Kimmel was being paid by ABC. It's their call. Had Kimmel did this on his social network platform, then that is free speech. It's not free speech when you are being paid to host a TV show. There are policies, rules and standards that the network have to abide by. Kimmel actually thought he was untouchable in this instance. I bet he was really shocked with ABC having to suspend the show.

It's funny how the left cancelled the right for years, often because of 10-year-old tweets or simply having a different ideology, but now that they're facing immediately consequences for their awful behavior we have a free speech problem.

You can laugh all you want to. This has happened with OF for the last 2 realignments. I can see being just a few under once. Then it happened twice. A third time in my opinion would warrant an investigation. Getting lucky happens. Twice can be a coincidence. Three times there's something more to it.

Just need Doc Brown's DeLorean to go back 3 years and fix the past for the future Mustangs. Better than Coach Hyde's staff. That says a lot. Nice to know Toby's reputation is still what we always expected. We are so proud of him and all the other graduates from the program that went on to great things. Both on and off the field. The coaching tree may not be as spread out as some others. Guaranteed the ones that are out there following what Hooks and CT started are having the success they need to continue they're careers. This staff that demolished our traditions will forever be known for the demise of the winningest program in the great state of Texas. 40+ years to build Less than 40 games to lose Smh... when will they stop this horrible experiment? I said we had to go at minimum 4-2 this week and we already have 3 of those wins. I'll be good with a 2-1 series win this weekend.

I'm actually glad. Like I said earlier, the season--including preseason--has been a madhouse with all the press for the stadium, expectations for the team, etc. I'm hoping now that some of that has passed, they can get back to concentrating on football. They've played a heck of a schedule and come out 2-1 vs. 0-3 last year. They need this off week to clean up some play, rework on some fundamentals, and get refocused. Maybe make a couple personnel adjustments. But, they'll be fine. A LOT of talent on this team. Losses can be humbling. I did see the DCTF computer generated poll of all 1500 teams still had LP at 13 in 5AD1. Vype has LP at 4 now. Angleton & LP just flipped. Angleton is now 3. Vype doesn't separate D1 & D2 in 5A. So, Randle is 1, Iowa Colony is 2, Angleton 3, La Porte 4, Kempner & Friendswood even made it into the rankings at 8 & 10 respectively. PN-G--this year--is a much more complete team IMHO than last year. Bailey has really come into his own, and the D is much improved from last year. I have little doubt we'll see another SOC/PN-G tilt this year. Simon still did well (146 & 2 TD's), and could have had more. But, LP was passing more in the catch-up game. The up & coming QB looked good. That would be a personnel change I would go ahead and make knowing you have the experience to come back in if necessary. He adds a different dynamic, and an escapability/scramble threat.

D1 players make D1 regardless of the high school position they play or the style of offense/defense. Could make an endless list of examples.

I was surprised to see looking at the latest poll release from DCTF that La Porte is no longer in the top 10 falling from #5 to out of the poll. This is unusual, especially since they lost to a very good team in PNG. Smithson valley lost a game and they are still #3. Why? I think we often give too much credence to polls. How you are ranked does not affect your chance of success, just your talent and how you execute.

They absolutely should have beaten Cuero. An awful no-call on a big completion by Cuero when the QBs knee touched the ground. Silsbee was better, just didn’t go their way. Carthage would have killed them in state, but it would have been awesome to get to go.
